John, during the holiday’s I took advantage of the Hatch flex option. I own Bernina V8 so Hatch is a natural transition. This video answered all my questions about the difference with ESA fonts. I am a quilter and also use cutting machines so these font packages are a great value considering how they can be modified. One thing I would say as a quilter is that I generally prefer a single run, particularly on a big quilt. Can I break designs apart and make them a single run?
Terry Maffitt they are created as a double pass so all the object join closest point. It might be possible with a lot of editing but creating a single pass without trims and jumps would be difficult.
I have a Brother Dream machine (the first one. NOT the 2) I also have Embrilliance software on my computer (which I've never had much luck using or understanding).. I've gotten interested in your videos and subscribed to them. Please tell me how I can find thissoftware, and will it work with Embrilliance?
John, I have truly enjoyed this video. I have learned a lot. And I also have a question, do you have any digitized chenille fonts or designs available, or is that something that can be created with the Hatch program.
I have Bernina and Floriani TCU. You mentioned the ESA wouldn't work on Bernina. Would it work for Floriani? Also, where are the lessons you mentioned for these beautiful stitch outs? I would love to try my hand at it!
April Jaehn ESA fonts are specific to Hatch or Janome V5. If you want to play with the ESA files you can download the full featured 30 day demo at www.digitizingmadeeasy.com
