Regulations limit them to 2 liter engines and 45 millimeter turbocharger restrictor plates, which ultimately are the two factors limiting power. The engines produce about 600 horsepower, and over 650 lb-ft of torque, rocketing these machines from 0-60 in as fast as 1.9 seconds.
1.9 seconds! If we do the math, 60 mph is equivalent to 88 ft per second. 88/1.9 = 46.3 ft/sec squared, or if we divided by 32.2, it means the cars accelerate at over 1.4 longitudinal g’s!! That’s faster than any production vehicle, regardless of how much it costs.
So how do they achieve such mind blowing acceleration? First and foremost, you’ll need all wheel drive and an absurd power to weight ratio. With a minimum weight of 2921 pounds including the driver and all fluids, the vehicles are carrying less than 5 pounds of weight for every horsepower the engine produces.
All wheel drive is obviously critical for maximizing acceleration, but it’s also important that the engine torque finds its way to the wheels with the most traction. To do this, plate and ramp style mechanical limited slip differentials are used front and back. A shallow ramp angle in an LSD will lock up more easily under throttle. With the differential locked up, torque goes wherever it finds grip. A steep ramp angle will provide little lock-up, or if it’s as steep as 90 degrees, no lockup.
If you use too shallow of an angle, you’ll have too much lock-up under cornering or braking, resulting in the car running wide. If you use too steep of an angle, you won’t be able to fully put the power down to optimize your start, or acceleration through-out the race. Often though, coming down to the precise angle is not only a matter of what’s best from an engineering standpoint, but what the driver prefers as well, depending on how they like to attack the course.
Now all of this sound great so far, but ultimately the power gets put down where the rubber meets the road. BFGoodrich supplies their g-Force RC02 Rallycross tires, which are developed specifically and exclusively for Red Bull Global Rallycross. Built for 17 inch wheels with a profile of 235/45, the radial tires are molded slicks specially designed for mixed surface events. For both the front and the rear, BFGoodrich recommends negative 2.0 to negative 3.0 degrees of static camber, with a cold pressure of 20-22 psi. The tremendous grip these tires provide is the last mechanical step of getting to 60 in less than two seconds.

NEW VIDEO EVERY WEDNESDAY! Авто/Мото
Gearbox ratio it's relevant too.
very
Maakola77 you need very short gear ratios and a very high final drive
The Venom Hoon Yes, but in the end it all comes down to grip. If the engine is powerful enough you don't need insanly short gear ratios.
***** You have to calculate the maximum torque the tires can handle before slipping, and go backwards from there. Yes backwards through the transmission and to the engine, so the transmission ofc do matter, but the transmission/engine can only take you "so far" before it all depends on tire grip. A drag racer therefore has bigger wheels than body..
I'm liking this discussion lol
Redbull Sponsored, interviews the Rockstar Driver xD
I'm clearly quite good at this haha :'D
iTz_Bruce_Banner I like turtles
which is why the red bull guy crashed the interview :D
iTz_Bruce_Banner He interviewed Tanner Foust "the Rockstar driver" because he is very personable and he is the best driver in the series. Tanner is a cool guy and a very multi- talented driver and person. Look him up.
MyRealName
which is why the red bull guy crashed the interview :D
this.
0-100 km/h (27.78m/s) in just around 2.0 seconds - for literally 99% of the human population which use the metric system.
Its all about the top 1% here in the U.S
+Damon Mason Wayne come to England we use both
George Bowyer I can't. If I move to England and try to play football, everyone will laugh at me when I pick the ball up with my hands, run with it, and yell touchdown!
+Damon Mason Wayne very true
Literally 99%? God, i hope you're joking.
I feel like Ive watched you grow up. When I came here you were standing at a board explaining how vvt works. Now youre doing live demonstrations and getting redbull sponsorship on vids. Congrats!
But I'll still be doing white board videos haha. :)
True lol
Awesome video! Lol @ 600hp from a "restricted" 2.0L. Hahaha.
the skoda octavia vRS holds the world record for being the worlds fastest production car and able todo 240mph supercharged
Sorry , it's a Hennesey Venom @ 270mph. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Production_car_speed_record
Slap a stroker crank on one of the Miatas and it's basically a GRC car. :D
+CncObsession Nope, it's the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.
***** a production car is a regular car made in the thousands, not a car that has been produced
you forgot to mention the gear ratios
I was wondering the same.
All 2.0 ratio gears baby
I was also on Red Bull TV and NBC Sports, you can watch the full final here, and you'll see me starting at the 28:56 mark: www.redbull.tv/live/AP-1KNHTH3YW1W11/red-bull-global-rallycross
Hope everyone's having a great day!
Engineering Explained I like this sport a lot. I saw them in DC. Spectator turnout was minimal; I hope it picks up.
Very good video as usual with tech and humor!
More subtitles , please I'm a Brazilian, legends in subtitles , please
legends significa lenda. legenda em ingles é subtitle.
Engineering Explained are you a mechanical engeneer
Dude I was there too, I seriously wish I would've saw you so I could come up and say hi
could you show it in metric also? Imperial is annoying as hell!
Or maybe, just maybe, he could have both on screen?
like the rest of the world i also got used to metric. imperal is pretty useless for us. and the SI base units are also metric and all the scientific formulas are based on metric so it makes sense to use metric when you are talking about physics so you dont have to convert all the time. thats why he should show both you fascist!
Or maybe, you can just look it up.
Cactus
But wouldn't it make sense for him to put it on screen so the rest of the world wouldn't need to look it up?
***** pls read what i wrote before replying i sad : also
Damn, brother! Nice video! Keep this up and pretty soon Red Bull's gonna send you up to 120,000' in a helium balloon to talk about the engineering of freefall.
Ooooh! I'm ready!
Would you be able to do a video on the design of rally car/rallycross wings. The aero on rally cars seems so practical but the contours always intrigue me.
This is what great sponsored content should look like. a pleasure to watch, very interesting, not far away from average channel content and very satisfying for the partner company you work with.
Good Job EE
At 4:18 you were rubbing elbows with Rick Johnson! Hall of fame in both AMA Motorcycles and Motorsport Hall of Fame. Dude is a legend in the motocross world and an all around awesome guy.
Definitely an awesome guy! You can see the full interview in the link in the description, I go around with Johnson to a few different teams. :)
Aggressive anti lag and Launch control I'm sure play a huge part too.
+JG Car Cleaning the drivers are the launch control, but yes, as mentioned by Tanner, you do have ALS.
Still no match for my Accent
The cars aren't nearly slow enough to hang with your Accent. It's a shame, really.
BURNT
Crispy XD
Why? What country are you from?
현대 엑센트 팬클럽?
How does the composition of these tires differ from F1 and street tires?
Ceazar Carr great question. I would like to know as well.
Justin M 1.4 Gs in lateral acceleration? These tires are crazy.
i honestly dont believe that the tires make such a huge diference, the crazy aceleration comes mostly from the mecanical parts and light weight. can you smell the smelly smell of marketing? these BFgoodrich tires are very very soft cause you just want extreme grip, but they lack in durability.
jose jalapenho yeah you really don't understand anything about tires. These are your only contact patch to control the whole car, braking, and power delivery. There honestly couldn't be a much more important aspect of a race car. If the tires suck, the rest of the car won't work. BFG is top notch.
Did you see EE's video on fastest possible 0-60 times? The tires are a limiting factor, as 2.1S IIRC was the best current street tires allow (based on braking distances, which can be used to infer grip and max acceleration).
No doubt that you need lots of power and a solid tuned drivetrain/suspension to get such times. But without the tires, when you do the math, that last .2S reduction is lost. Every little bit counts, every little bit lost hurts.
Tanner was the only positive thing about American Top Gear. I think you'd be a great candidate if they ever tried to remake it. Maybe you, Matt Farah, and Tanner Foust. Randy Pobst could be the Stig. ThatDudeInBlue could make random appearances to draw in more Millennial viewers. I'd watch that show for sure. Man, I miss Top Gear UK....
Well at least we have The Grand Tour coming really soon.
Randy has to much personality to hide behind a helmet :P
SOOO true. I thought about that after writing my post. He could be the Stig's Face-shield-less Cousin? Or, maybe he and Tanner could duke it out each week as they review cars and have separate time boards to see who's fastest 'round the track. Let the banter begin! Although, I feel like we'd still need a mystery Stig....
+Zero Cool I hope they keep these Ignition episodes coming forever... Thats the real Top gear now. TGT is just a circus on wheels now - a great circus on wheels - but it's just not a real car TV show anymore.
Matevž Kaplan
I agree 100% TG used to cover cars as well as have the circus bit but the last few seasons(even with clarkson and co.) have kind of gone off the rails.
I need one of those cars for my daily. Will never have a boring day again 😂 (Ik just take the joke)
you can make them road legal easy just put some parts that u need to have in road legal car and thats it,and have money bacause they're unreliable af
JDMISMY LIFE I think it's hard to have anything close to a reliable car when the car is constantly being jumped, bashed, and driven to the limit all the time haha. There are reliable 500-700 whp built 4 cyls on the road that go for ages. Just depends how it's driven and what it's driven for.
FerpiliciousProducts They'll go for ages if you're dumping decent sums of money in them a couple times a year...
Shelby F-150.
0 to prison in 3 seconds!
Pleaaaaase use metric system! Not everyone is from usa
hahahahaha
I'm an American too, and that sounds a little bit hypercritical considering how we treat foreign languages
1997 haha that comment, so accurate :D
Right. I'm going to pause every time a quantity is said. Tab over, look it up, tab back and watch for another 2 seconds before repeating the process. It's disrupts flow of video, and as such makes for a bad viewing experience.
No language is more correct than any other, however, Metric is the superior measuring system in every way :P
RedBull tries to pull you away from Rockstar energy's Tanner Foust 😂
Have you ever heard about the SI-system?
probably not
Have you heard about the tragedy of Darth Plagueis?
have you ever heard of the FitnessGram™ pacer test? according to legend, it is a multi-stage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues.
NHGJLK He uses the metric and SI system in most of his videos. Ever watch them?
you also need low gear ratio to achive this acceleration , the longer the gear ratio , the acceleration is lower , but the speed is increase
i was really hoping you would tell us how they were getting that power out of the 4 banger
High boost & race fuel. I think they're operating somewhere around 45 PSI.
what internals are they using that can handle 45 psi??
+Sprint2911gt3rsr boost can go way higher
yeah, but if you dont have the internals to support that boost, they become externals. derp.
Sprint2911gt3rsr Probably done special race block they manufactured. I doubt they start with a production engine
So cool to see you get such a cool gig, happy for you man.
Thanks for covering Rally. I just bought Dirt Rally for my new ultrawide monitor, and it's great to see this covered in such detail.
How do you get all your information? Any books you read or recommend?
For this video I was able to chat with the engineers on site at GRC from Honda, VW, and Subaru. :)
What do you do for your more theoretical based stuff? Books on thermo or fluids or engines?
This one's pretty fun if you're into math! Physics For Gearheads - amzn.to/29ipxCw
Awesome! Thanks for the reference, math is my favorite!
Finally a video where it's not just you in front of a white board. Like if you agree
got to be doing something right if he gets invites to FiA stuff
+for_all_those GRC has nothing to do with the FIA. I'm guessing that you are thinking of World Rallycross.
Ben Kroon its the same things and the same teams and the same cars, just a 1 day event so redbull can make some more money, and team sponsors can be happy and pay a little extra
its the same as world downhill MTB and redbull rampage
+for_all_those I'm not sure what you mean. The 2016 Red Bull Global RX Championship contains 12 rounds at 8 different venues in the US -- and I'm not entirely sure who the governing body is. The 2016 World Rallycross Championship contains 12 rounds with each one taking place in a different country and is governed by the FIA. These two series have different teams, drivers, and cars.
Ben Kroon red bull just cash in on sports, they won't write all the rules and regulations that go with them especially a motor sport, FiA rules and specs go other 10,000 pages normally
Very cool review on this sport!! I always loved this type of racing and you really did a great job explaining the whole power to the ground experience. Amazing how these cars launch off the line so fast and now I know why.
Loved the interviews during the last round!
the most important thing why they accelerate that fast is the transmission, the do have ,,only,, 600 PS but why are they accelerating way faster then a bugatti? because they are lighter of course, but the main reason is that the transmission is different, for example a bugatti needs 2,6 scnd´s from 0-100 km/h a ralley car only 1,9 but a bugatti drives over 400 km/h, a ralley car only about 180 to 230 km/h because the transmission is built to accelerate and not for top speed
DieCurrySauce it arent ment to build for top speed anyways , cuz the track design ( much steep corner ) , it has to be quick ( accelerate fast )
yeah, thats what the video is about ;)
Yeah surprised the trans wasn't even mentioned!
I'd rather that in imperial measurements
A buggattis 0-60 isn't that fast compared to some cars
3:08 WOW! The Civic wanna fly!
Haha, going for it! I'm guessing they got a little traction with the rear wheels just before take-off, gave it a bit of a nudge and kept the nose up.
yeah I was thinking the same thing. Must've been a rough landing.
+Engineering Explained Next Video: "How to win RedBull Rallyecross with your S2000"? xD
EE u r exactly what top gear/grand tour needs ! thank you for great content !
you're killing it man! good job
Anyone else watching this after the unveiling of the new Tesla Roadster?
These are 10 times more awesome and fun than a non-existing Tesla.
Gonna try these specs out in Forza
Tanner Foust!!! 😊 My favorite driver ever 😊
thanks for the video love rallycross
Group B did it in 2.1 sec (RS 200) or 2.9 (Quattro Sport) on gravel. The good old 80´s
Very cool video, you missed out the gearbox part though :)
If I remember correctly, the gearing is pretty nuts with the ratios very close together and gear changes being extremely fast
Very cool video Jason. I went on Saturday, it was my first GRC race in person and it was awesome. These cars are little monsters, I just wish Pastrana was still racing in this series.
I was there this Sunday!! Wish I could've met you!
This just showed up in my recommended, suddenly the Roadster 1.9 doesn't sound so special
mindfuck when i start hearing calculations with feet lol
I love this style of video. When you're just standing in front of a whiteboard, it's interesting, but it feels like class. If you've just got video, well it's just a video, and not necessarily an educational one. When you find the right balance between demo video and drawings/calculations/graphical representations, it makes for the best video period.
As always, your videos are very educational. Keep up the good work man!! 👍
Ayeee i saww you we said hey when you were in the blue BRZ
Right on, hey there!
Can you do a short video explaining what engine size would be optimal? Im looking at a 5.3, 5.7, 6.0, 7.4, 8.1. not sure what to go with what is good for tunes and upgrades
Spartan-118 go with the 5.3 it's probably the best for upgrading.
Spartan-118 are you talking about heavy duty diesels? 7.1 l turbocharged ferds go for 500000 plus miles
So much missed out here. The fuel used- Gearbox ratios - Type of gear box - Anti lag - Hp + torque curve .etc
Ya, but the common viewer doesn't care about this so obviously things will be left out. I don't this is intended for those in the know
VP Rally Max Fuel, 6 speed sequential, gearing is open. Yes, anti-lag (I have two videos explaining anti-lag, one on sequential gearboxes). Peak torque around 4K RPM for the Subaru, redline around 8K. All of the car info can't fit into one video, that's why I make 2 a week! :)
Engineering Explained Thank you lol.
+Engineering Explained What do you mean by gearing is open? It would mean a lot if you could answer this!
Almost a million subscribers, congrats man. Keep up the awesome work sir.
Thats so awesome that you're sponsored by Red Bull!
I might be a nerd but I wanted to see another maximum traction calculation but for the specific conditions of those cars.
It's Tanner F**ing Foust!
+Antonio Tapia heck yeah it is!
Engineering Explained damn, I did not know you were there! I was there too, it would have been really cool to meet you!
I love the look of these Fiestas so much, I went out and bought myself a Fiesta ST last year lol. I just wish I could have one of those instead as my daily :D
Red Bull is treating you good! Great content
Anyone here say that the Tesla roadster is going to do this is forgetting something: this 0-60 time is only possible with these special tires and they are NOT STREET LEGAL. With that being said, I will maintain skepticism.
The acceleration speed is tied with the Tesla Roadster’s acceleration speed
The car's not out yet, stop hyping up unverified claims.
. 😂are you serious?? The concept is out and it actually goes 0-62 in 1.9 seconds, and even if that wasn’t true, it says it on the Tesla’s website that the car will go 0-60 in 1.9 seconds. Not verified my ass. Lmao
You're still missing the point. Musk's claims are merely that; claims. There's no evidence to back it up, no videos of this allegedly fast prototype, and no third party has witnessed the car in action to confirm the claim. As such, the claims are unverified. Why you're so insistent to simply take Musk's word for it is beyond me. It's just idiocy.
Until proof is present, a claim is unverified. Drill that into your thick skull.
. no point man, stop trying to argue with a braindead Tesla fan.
. well, judging by tesla’s history, they’ve always had underestimated 0-60 numbers for model x, s and 3. i don’t think there’s reason to assume the roadster will be any different, even if the claims are wild.
Jason, over a million subs. Wow! Been with you for a few years, happy for you. Why has it grown so exponentially lately?
I like this format. Makes the math way more entertaining that just watching it on the whiteboard:)
1:15 so you are telling me that's an AWD Honda Civic? So when are we getting those?
Anyways I've always wanted to see Rallycross like this, unfortunately the last time they came through my area I was on vacation.
I want an AWD Civic... :'c
SURE you can swap a civic body with an AWD chassis from a different car but thats just not... Authentic awd Civic-ing.
I demand Honda puts out a standard AWD tranny in a new sports car.
what's inside the civic? do they make specific engines just for this event?
I talked to the main tech after the event on sat, and he said this engine has nothing in common with any honda car engine out there. that it was specifically designed for this type of racing.
I'd imagine they all use basically the same engine
They're designed specifically for this type of racing. Last year they had to use a stock block but that has changed.
i am guessing its a ford engine, since the team owner is Anderas Eriksson, he owns Olsbergs mse and build or help like 90% of all fords in rallycross! also have 2 fords in rallycross wrx!
mikael sundholm
I doubt it's a Ford engine. Chances are pretty good that they get them from a highly specialized performance engine shop. I got a chance to talk to Patrick Sandells crew because they didn't make it into the final at Seattle. They told me theirs is from a small company in Italy.
awesome video again! what a treat for red bull to help you explain these cars to us! you don't often get to go into those industries unless you work in them, I'm so glad people are taking notice of your teaching skill's value to people!
since it seems like you may be heading in the that direction, have you ever considered doing a video on the explanation of how a twin engined car works and stays in synch?
dude do you understand how awesome your life is. i wish i could do something like that in my life.
Do a video on the tesla roadster being able to do this
Beck ou yes please!
Tesla roadster can't turn like these beasts
Ausintune it also wouldn't make it half way around the course before having to stop for 30min to recharge lol
top fuel dragster 0-300 in 1.9 sec hmmmmmm
And a cornering acceleration of what? 0.01 G?
there's no top fuel dragster that gets to 300mph in less than 2 seconds.
0 - 60 mph 0.2 (secs) 0 - 100 mph 0.8 (secs), that said, if you convert to metric, 300 km/h in under 2 seconds isnt so far fetched. Either way you look at it hes wrong, but they are also an entirely different breed of car that is built to go in one direction as fast as possible, these have to turn too.
SlackinPanda even if he is talking kilometers then he's a little closer. but still wrong
Nick Martin He is right, the fastest I found was 1.57 seconds to 300km/h
that was a cool video to watch! thanks brother!! 😆
This is the nascar of rallying!
And i love it!
How does the new Tesla coupe do it in 1.9???
Luke Monsoon all wheel drive, grippy tires and electric engine
instant torque from electric powertrain
The car's not out yet, stop hyping up unverified claims.
It doesn't.
What are the differences between this and the fia world rally cross?
Supra Man world rally is more traditional (country roads - dirt/ice/gravel). Red Bull is rally in a controlled environment. Think of it almost as Mario Kart meets bumper cars. 👍
mostly difference in how exactly the scoring is done and exactly how the championship poi ts are awarded. Cars are the same (for example OMSE builds cars for both series). GRC uses last chance qualifier, which WRX doesn't . which means GRC finals are usually 10 cars and WRX 6 cars.
biggest track differences are the flipped nature of joker and GRC always using the same 70 foot build jump. WRX runs on permanent tracks, which usually have jumps based on topography and not intentionally build jump, though few tracks have intentionally build gravel bank jumps. jokers are flipped WRX uses slower joker, while GRC uses faster joker. Due to the slow nature WRX uses extra joker laps as penalty. GRC uses stop and go instead.
world rally cross and world rally championships are different series
he said world rally cross not world rally cars
there are better drivers in fia world rally cross ;)
I love rallycross and rally. easily my favorite motorsports
Redbull sponsor!? Nice man!!!
Honda makes an awd rally?
similar to a lot of things racing, they also produce/co-produce F1 cars, MotoGP bikes and WSBK bikes. Its likely a co-production, that allows them to place their name on it and use their body, but is probably also a lot of external parts/kits. That said, Honda produces some bad ass machines, when it doesnt come to their basic DD cars
Volkswagen's Beetle is a slow pile but that doesn't stop them from making it a GWRC car, either.
The GWRC engine/component layouts are very different from anything you'd find in their consumer vehicle equivalents. No models running, not even the Fiesta and WRX, are really like what you could just buy and drive down the road.
only rallycross.
Honda makes good lawn mowers too.
These are nothing like the cars they look like, believe it or not the Fiesta isn't an AWD rally car either. These are completely bespoke race cars with a random non-integral body on top.
"That's faster than any production vehicle regardless of how much it costs!"
Elon Musk: hold my beer
*unveils tesla roadster with same acceleration for 200k*
But the new Tesla roadstar isn’t out yet you can’t buy it now
Some pikes peaks can 0-60 in 1.7 seconds.
Combustion engines are far from being obsolete.
Elon Musk has not shown any proof that he can make a road legal car that can accelerate that fast.
these cars are the coolest great video
Is that the Redbull Honda Global Rallycross Civic, I love that thing !
New tesla just came out
No it hasn't.
@@monsieurboks now it has
Units of measurement
Metric. Imperial.
Used by most Used by countries
Countries that have gone to
in the world the moon
Mclovin But NASA used metric units during Apollo 11
love this channel
dang, this video just popped up on my recommended cause I've been watching old videos of Tanner driving, cause he's my favorite driver. Didn't expect to see him in the video!
Could you make an alternative version with worldwide units please?
Google "conversion" calculator. ;)
Try doing that every time a non-SI unit is mentioned in the video and tell me how great experience it was.
thank you
You want a special version made for you?
Why not instead ask him to include conversions in future videos, so he only has to make one video?
dolebiscuit was going to argue with you, but what you proposed would be nice.
because of the Imperial measurment I don't understand ANYTHING ! :/
Brilliant video
Woo Bluebeam! Cool footage, the Civic's are our cars!
"faster than any production vehicle"
To this day. Tesla Roadster 2 marked the end of this.
Still gotta wait a few years to have actual numbers from a production vehicle.
Is the Roadster 2 a production vehicle at the time?
Not yet have to wait till you can buy it
NASA uses metric, you are using the wrong units... Even your S2000 uses metric sizes. Get on with the times eh, ... Thanks for a great video nevertheless.
This is clearly above your head
Most definitely above your head and of any modicum of civility.
john fragos Don't troll and whine, imbecile.
Young man, swearing is immature and will never win you any arguments. On the other hand, you keep on establishing that this is way above your head.
It was 60 elbows per second and the car weighs 100 sacks of potatoes.
Redbull is awesome! yea margin is stoopid large but they put it to cool stuff like this
im glad you picked tanner to talk to!!
I threw up a little when you said " Automotive legend Tanner Foust".
You better clean yourself off!
"faster than any production vehicle"
Not anymore. Tesla Roadster will do 1.9s.
MIGHT do. There are no production vehicles that can be tested as of yet. Any numbers that they have gotten is from prototypes and/or calculations.
GlassBomb Their prototype does 1.9. Why wouldn't the production vehicle?
Because weight, batteries, motors, computers, interior, etc isn't that of the finished product. And it all comes down to the tires in the end. And I'm honestly not sure if the Michelin Cup 2 tires are capable to get sub 2 seconds times.
All of that is why I am skeptical of Tesla and Elon's claims.
This video was made in 2016. Roadster 2 arrives.. maybe late 2020.
@@mcplutt Maybe late 2022
I worked RBGRC in Dallas and it was the best time I've had with cars, period.
Glad this popped up on my suggested vids.
I don't trust any "engineering" channel that expresses g as g's.
you are a dork
never heard of G forces?
Tesla Roadster Just as fast 0-60
The car's not out yet, stop hyping up unverified claims.
. Ever seen some video's about the car??
World Of The Music Yep, I've seen lots of talking but no live demonstration or actual proof. It's just like all those companies that claimed "300mph" a couple years ago.
. They already claimed the 0-60 and they are already working on the performance version
World Of The Music You're not paying attention, are you? Their claims are unverified. As businesses usually are, there's a very good chance that the claims are deliberately misleading.
Rally car races are so much fun to watch
This is fantastic stuff here, I hope you will get more opportunities like this in the future.
In 1.9 seconds huh? Well... there’s a new car called Tesla Roadster... maybe you know it idk
Really? Where can I buy it?
Svein Hanssen Online from the Tesla Store
SI ! You are a young engineer, why do you spread this old stuff around?
An American motorsport for a mostly American audience. Conversions are simple, most engineers work with both!
Still getting the units comments. :) As a physics graduate and Englishman who's grown up using metric for science, imperial makes more sense for many everyday familiar quantities, even while metric is "easier". Counting in "12s" seem to work for yielding more appreciable quantities in everyday life not dissimilarly to how the French Revolution era's 10 day week didn't work like 7 does.
Thanks for the answer. You have an educational channel. Many young engineers watch it, like i do. Dont you think that the new generation should work with the same units system? if we want to work together for big projects in the future, like mars exploration, we should get the basics synced.
that was awesome! fantastic video
thank you so much for this video.
I really wish you would get someone to do voiceovers for you... I have a hard time watching your videos due to your nerd voice.
yer meen.
Oh man, that was some sexy racing footage you got there!
