Frage: Gibt es eine bessere Don-Giovanni-Inszenierung als diese der Met? Antwort: Nein, es gibt keine! Eine Sopranistin der Spitzenklasse singt mit den beiden weltbesten Baritonen, Mariusz Kwiecien (richtiger Name: Vor Gott) und Luca Pisaroni (richtiger Name: Neben Gott), die auch noch komödiantisches Talent im Übermaß besitzen und ausspielen in der schönsten Inszenierung, die ich kenne und ich kenne viele! Leider ist es mir bisher noch nicht gelungen, hiervon eine DVD mit der kompletten Oper zu finden.
Szanowny Panie Piotrze, chyba zaszło nieporozumienie. Nie znam żadnego młodego z II roku. Znam natomiast pewnego wybitnego starego z IV roku i czekam z niecierpliwością na jego wykonanie arii szampańskiej. Pozdrawiam cieplutko z rodzinką, Krowa Paulinka. Muuuu.
Sadly, I don't even think they'll make a dvd/blueray out of it... It didn't make it to the HD broadcast and it wasn't recorded :( I only have a pirate audio recording that I made (shhhhh :p) but that's it. Pity.
Oh no! That's a depressing thought. I suppose we'll never really know for at least a year when the Met releases it's DVD's for the past season. I truly appreciate your posts.
@@krowapaulinka4351 Thanks for uploading this! I saw Luca as Giovanni this season as well and was looking for some clips of the production to relive it. I'm grateful for the productions they record but inevitably disappointed when they skip something that was wonderful. The Elvira in that production was very good as well.

Kweicein if egg heat ever his name is has terrible diction it is all woofy he sounds 100 years old. Frittoli is a vocal goddess here. Pisaroni is gorgeous and has a lovely telling timbre.

Pisaroni should be playing Don Giovanni. He has a much stronger presence and better voice.
He IS singing Giovanni now, at the Met in the very same production. I was lucky enough to have seen premiere and he was absolutely amazing!
