The best pygame channels:Da Fluffy PotatoClear CodeKids Can Code
Thx man, I didn't know the other channels
oh, yeah the most interesting things on Kids Can Code were: pathfinding and fleeing behaviour
not only a programming part of it but the understanding of physics and maths to apply them into the visual is insane

@Parth Bisht Didn't expect to see a response 7 months later, thank you for your help! :)
What do you think of the ursina game engine?? it seems much easier than pygame to me
Haven’t tried it, but I may look into it at some point.
How would you make this frame rate independent?Edit:I think this works. When calculating the "velocity" with the current position and the position last frame, multiply by 1.0 - delta TimeAlso multiply the gravity by delta time.
Was there a reason you used json instead of .txt or .csv or binary
It is very easy to load to a dictionary which has the same format using json library
I recently started creating a story based game in python but immediately I encountered lag problems... and i just blitted tiles :p advices?
maybe chunk tiles rather than rendering all of them so the ones on screen will only be rendered
Create a function to calculate the distance of the player to the tiles.. Render them only if the player gets close enough
Hi, can pygame handle 100 000 lines of code or more without any freezes or fps drop?
That’s not how that works... LoC has almost nothing to do with performance.
