I really like seven card stud but but where I am the casino doesn’t have stud games only hold’em and PLO.

@@Sinnegeiets Here in Australia the rake is 10% and capped at $15, even if it’s a split pot the casino still takes rake. What does rake cost you in the Netherlands?

@@DissidentPrick that's ridiculous, for example today there is a €50+20 rebuy and you pay fee over every rebuy (50+20) and also fee over the add-on (50+20) . For the 2/2 cashgame you can only buyin for min 50 max 150 with 10% cap 10 rake

Same. Last October I tried to start up a Stud 8 cash game at South Point Las Vegas (great poker room by the way) just to see how many people were interested in playing some Stud. One hour later, no one joined so I ended up hopping into a Limit Hold'em game instead. They do have an Omaha 8/Stud 8 mixed game tournament on Thursdays which is the closest thing I've found to a Stud game in Vegas.

@@jamesl9539 I think by the end of the video there were 5 or 6 times players were rolled up, I was only 4 hours in when I commented. I haven’t played a lot of 7 card stud but I’ve played for a lot longer than this video and I can only remember being rolled up twice. The odds of being dealt rolled up trips is 424-1 and they are playing about 20 hands per hour, this table has smashed them odds making it look more like 60-1.

I've been trying to get into 7-card-stud.... but after watching this... 'I'm out!'. I've been playing Texas Hold-Em professionally for about 10 - 12 years now...
But in this game it's basically that you get dealt cards and may as well have a sheet of paper dealt to you saying "this is exactly what I have".
    What a strange game.
