In the 2010s probably. Duhammal seemed like a decent guy too, but probably not as likeable as John. And you'd have to go back further to find one as decent as John seems
I feel he only got bitter about a potential slowroll cause he was begging for a fold after his opponents speech. A 3 million dollar decision warrants more time so Cynn was fine to me.
I hate shoving with 40+ BB for what’s at best a coin flip. Less than 20 it’s an no-brainer, but with 40 and lots of laddering ICM still possible, it seems like a very bad play. So many better spots! Other than that mistake, he did play very well.
@@fakeyoutubeaccount594I think Cada does have an "extra" sort of play at a table. Especially at a final table. Same with a lot of former champions who make it this far. It's that they are a former champion.. And when you push all in.. It's going to scare others more than if just an amateur did it.
@@usernamesrlamoas someone who has run extremely cold for 3 straight days before, there honestly isn’t a guarantee he gets anywhere near another spot like that, plus he has no way to knows he’s up against AK
Remember that right after Cada got knocked out, he jumped right into The Closer tourney moments later and took the whole thing down. He's clearly the most experienced & skilled in this group.
Miles thinking he was slow rolled is ridiculous and a sign of a bad looser. If there's a time you'd be double and tripple thinking your decisions, it would heads up at the final table.
Seriously, I was shocked. He seemed polite the whole time. I'd be so freaking tired by that time. There's times on just Day 1 where I was tired and had trouble counting 5 chips.
I saw it as a slow roll. He could only be behind AK and no way any of his talking and attempt to get a read would cause him to fold. He knew he slow rolled which is why he didn’t celebrate
He commented earlier that it was surprisingly easy to get all the chips. On the final table, it was surprisingly easy for him to lose all the chips. He made some very questionable calls...
The editing saved a lot of time. In game, Tony's people told him he had a tell. Tony was flicking his chips in with a circular motion, that's why he quit doing it. GG too both. 😊
I don’t think it was a slowroll. When villain 3bets 8.5x BB’s pre, then bets half pot on flop, then shoves the turn… KJ doesn’t look SUPER amazing. Easily could have AK or KQ there, and even though it would be unlikely, he could technically also have 55 or 88 there. So it’s perfectly reasonable to think about the hand there and not snap call, especially given it’s HU and villain is all in with the WSOP ME Bracelet on the line. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
1:17:00 well that was a misstep and a half by Dyer. Surely he only called to catch the bluff? But I’m not sure in what universe Miles is bluffing there…
8:30 Dyer is being really reckless here. Saying "13, 25" could be interpreted as 13.25 million. If Cada or Lynskey have big hands they might bring the tournament director and force him what he said verbally.
Just because you’re “never folding” doesn’t mean it’s a slow roll. Also he said “I wasn’t trying to slow roll you” Stay mad about it cuz a guy thought through his decision when he didn’t have the nuts
Remember the dealer that insisted players show their hand to the camera AFTER the hand is over for some reason? Is this why Miles kept rechecking his hand after it was over?
During this coverage, they kept on saying Joe Cada won his 3rd bracelet this yr. But in fact, he didn't win it til after the main event. He got knocked out of main, then entered the closer tournament and won it.
I’m gonna give Cynn a pass on that last “slow roll”. It was late, they’ve been playing for 10 days, he was tired but still had the patience to think it through as he did not have the nuts (pun not intended).
Wow-only in America can you have a homeless dude and a drug addict heads up for 8 million! lol Also love Lon and Norman’s bickering like an old married couple. I wonder if Norman’s jokes are improv or scripted!
Cynn is probably one of the most likeable wsop champions in recent years. Handled himself with class the whole way through!

Not a slowroll. Obviously he can't fold trip kings there but he can still think about his decision heads up at the final table of the main event.

His play on day 7 was unreal.

Cada's sick. One of the best millennial players, him and Dwan.

Miles acted like such a douchebag after the bluff shove last hand. YOU made the mistake, don't take it out on your family.

Tony Miles (not the same person) became Englands first chess grandmaster back in the mid 70s 😀

Miles crying about being slowrolled lol
for a reason not that it matters
