You are the only other person I have seen who has set up the Midwest Cage's side by side for then to go from one to the other. I love it it that way also. Thanks for the video. I use fleece liners from Amazon but thinking about getting guinea dad liners
I have one setup in an L configuration and I now have one I took out the center divider and made a 4x4 cage out of two of em. One of my guys is getting older and he was having some issues with the ramp. They work great for my needs. The liners are still being used and are holding up great.
2.0s are made bigger because they shrink in the washing machine the first couple times, in 1.0 they shrunk and were too small for the cages, 2.0 is also made so you can put in a dryer, before you had to let it dry naturally which took FOREVER
Hi! I've got 2 male piggies and the amount of cleaning I need to do is treacherous! I was thinking about investing in a liner for my boys. How are your liners holding up 3 years later?
They can sure be messy. I am still using the same liners and bought more. I like them much more than bedding and the pigs are healthier because of it. There is a lot of dust they breath in when using bedding. I still recommend them. Just never use any heat when washing them. Dry them by hanging them up is the best way.
They look great, but we could never use them. Our 2 pigs right away learned how to get under their liner and we ended up having to make custom liners and a cage box in order to keep them out from under it. Love our Midwest cage though.
Really? I have a guy that tried to get under everything and for whatever reason he leaves the liners alone. His name is Dozer because he is just a wrecking ball. He destroys everything but leaves the liners alone thank goodness. I have been using these for a while now and just bought 4 more to replace my worn ones.
My biggest issue is moving pads are an unknown. They are made for moving so we have no clue what they are actually made with and what chemical is used to prevent mold. Also they have no backing and the threads often easily pull out. Guinea pigs chew and I don't feel safe using things that I don't know if it will harm them. Guinea pigs have a sensitive respiratory system and just because moving blankets don't bother me I am not laying on them breathing the fumes in close proximity. Vet bills are really expensive as it is so I take no chances with my guinea pigs. Maybe I am being over protective but that makes me feel better.

How is the liner 4 years later? How often do you wash them and how long do they take to dry?
They are great products saves me money over time because I can reuse them!
Still using these myself. Nothing else seems to work for me and my babies.
We have two male GPs. How often do you have to change the liner to wash it? Thanks

Thanks, Much appreciated.

Yes. They are the same size. Plus just has the ramp and top.
@@NewZonaRides thank you i was making sure before i order😃
I made my liners out of uhaul pads. I'm just wondering why you think it's a bad idea?

any updates on the liner? does it smell?
Check out my Guinea Pig channel at Fatman With Guinea Pigs and I will make an update video soon going over the plusses and minuses.
So how'd they hold up???
They are holding up well. I am still using them. You just have to be careful when you wash them and follow the instructions exactly.
@@NewZonaRides Have you seen a lot of shrinkage with the liners?
Grauenhafte und lieblose Unterbringung. Viel zu wenig Platz. Arme Meerschweinchen!
