thank you kindly for the video! new tw owner here, and this was very helpful to give me an idea of what sorts of tools i should start investing in. as i work through the maintenance routine i'll start adding bits and bobs as i go. the insight on tire repair items was also incredibly helpful. thanks again.
I really enjoyed this video. My tool roll is quite similar, down to the little square tube patches and combo tire irons/ wrenches and a bead buddy. I also always have a tow-strap (Chase Harper Buddy Tow), which packs pretty small. I roll a shop rag into the tool roll and I keep a tiny plastic travel bottle that holds some Fast Orange to clean up grease on the hands. Overkill? Perhaps, but it's been nice, given how expensive riding gear is! I carry a tiny whistle that has a compass in my jacket. If you are alone and end up out of sight and disabled, your voice will give out at some point, so the whistle might save you. I pack an ultra light-weight blanket (received as a gift) on long solo rides. Not sure it would keep me warm, but I like something to lay out on pine needles and rocks for resting or lunch. I did pick-up the Green Chile Z-drag recovery kit on sale, but I don't always pack it.
Thanks. I normally don't go too far solo but I do I carry a Garmin in reach device in case of emergency. I carry it any time we go off the beaten path.

6 day trail! I’m lucky if I get six hours on a trail.
We like to moto camp, it's one of the ways we travel when we take time off from work.
