The first time I heard that majestic music is when my son Philippe played it in church. Hearing this delightful music is a joy and don’t tire from listening to it. Stacy did an amazing job here in this superb performance. Bravo to him and also to the brilliant organist. Wow!
This rendition is so uplifting , regal and inspired , for me it is one of my life's favorite moments to hear this. The trills he does = goosebumps and her playing is so enthusiastic.
That was outstandingly good; probably the best rendition I've ever heard. And I've heard many; it's been one of my favorites for at least 17 years and was the processional in our wedding.
Well done Stacy !! Brilliant playing fella - you’ve got the heart & soul of Maurice Andre who is my hero !! All the most famous & not so famous trumpeters think MAURICE was the GREATEST - you play as many thousands of recitals as Maurice & you can be immortalised & remembered like him. Can you listen to his “live” 2nd Brandenburg Concerto & play that “live” here on RUclips too?? Blessings to you Stacy. Praise Him as in Psalm 150 🙏🏻
There have been a lot of very successful, professional trumpet players that graduated from the University of Louisville. Even so, Stacy is the best of the bunch.
Maravillosa... Interpretación de los dos...Veo como la gran Organista disfruta acompañando al gran trompetista... increíble su sonido... gracias... gracias...
Thank you for posting this delightful performance of the composition my wife and I selected for our wedding march. (Nothing original on our part -- this was a popular option circa 1973.)
LOL, just telling my daughter how I chose this for the wedding processional of my girlfriend's sister back in the late 1960s; splashy and not too difficult to play decently.
Wow! The trumpet complemented the organ, and the organ complemented the trumpet (or is it some type of coronet?). None over ran the other but both worked in harmony to put slight touches on each others' part at the right interval. Very beautiful indeed. (In the Olden Days on RUclips, we could give a rating in stars, take five! ****)
Who says, "One has to have sight to make beautiful music"? If Orpheus had been blind: he'd never have lost his wife by LOOKING over his shoulder for her! Go, Stevie Wonder! Go, José Feliciano! Go, Ray Charles! Show me the way !
It's called "Prince of Denmark's March". It is a 'trumpet voluntary' (one of many by various composers), but the title "The Trumpet Voluntary" is erroneous.
My bride glided down the isle to this tune in 1996---All Saints Church Brooklyn N.Y.
That makes you one lucky fella! Congratulations on your 28th anniversary 😎
The world would be a lot better place if there were more people like Diane Bish.
What an amazing combination. Probably the best rendition I have ever heard.
Wow! What an accomplished and dignified performance at the correct speed. And incredible major sixths!
Absolutely fabulous. Duo perfect and literally out of this world ! Stupendous !

The trumpet shall sing like never before

They are both very accomplished musicians, great to hear and watch .
This piece of music is very outstanding and beautiful!
Yes -- we used it as the bride's processional at our wedding. (As did lots of other couples.)
That was outstandingly good; probably the best rendition I've ever heard. And I've heard many; it's been one of my favorites for at least 17 years and was the processional in our wedding.
Not to mention our wedding in 1973, as well as Charles and Diana's. :)
It sounds great with just the organ, but the solo trumpet adds so much!
Ours too, 12th May 1979. Rest in Peace, Leta Eileen Currie-Marshall, 20th April 1956 to 20th February 2009
wonderfull what organist and trumpeter could listen all alday had at my wedding in 1991
Excellent trumpet playing.. God Bless the works of your hands sir.. 🎺

2:20 this part gets me every time ! Where the gates of Heaven open up and greet your arrival.
I debated watching this but I'm so glad I did. Amazing!
Although Mr. Blair's blindness keeps him from reading music, he overcame it with a great ear and memory to listen and play! 🙌👍
That's the most astonishing aspect of the video.
There are adaptive methods.
Blind people (I speak as one 50% blind) are not. capable of magic.
Very nice intonation from both, trumpet and organ player. Chapeau
Amazing!!!
this is perfect, just as I remember it from when I was 5 years old.. possibly in time for my funeral... many thanks...

Toujours Magnifique et magique ! Trompette et Orgue , un régal !!!

And he’s blind !
The actual name of this piece is "The Prince of Denmark's March."
True but also well known as the Trumpet Voluntary, don’t know why? , often played by trumpet virtuosos perhaps?
I never heard that type of trumpet before. I want one!
Ms. Bish today I “discovered” you and several beautiful organ pieces while strolling through RUclips. My lucky day, thank you! 🌹
Oh my goodness you’re beautiful. So is the music.
imho, this is the benchmark for this piece. Stacy is just amazing.
Ein Genuss, da zuhören zu dürfen.
A very proper version. Really wonderful.....sublime
Maravillosa... Interpretación de los dos...Veo como la gran Organista disfruta acompañando al gran trompetista... increíble su sonido... gracias... gracias...

Pity that Stacy Blair died relatively young; good that he's remembered here through the efforts of Diane Bish's video recordings

Blair has got to be the best name for a trumpet player 😂

That's a pretty small-looking trumpet! Must be the pocket size. Makes a magnificent sound, thought.
It has four valves! I just noticed that!

Processional for my wedding 28 years ago
Does any one know where I can buy this version?
Раньше не когда не интересовался такими музыки да хорошие музыки ок
オルガンとトランペットの調和と音色響き🎵

Incredible music. Certainly tops the rap cr*p and hip hop sh*t of today.
Mooi
just found out Diane is American... for whatever reason, I was under the impression she was British.
Prince of Demark march
What kind of trumpet is this?
That is the smallest trumpet I have ever seen. What is it called? Very nice sound.
It is a piccolo trumpet
