Definitely a topic that needed to be discussed for artist that havent been in a professional studio before great lesson man. I have been Rapping now for around 5 yrs writing close to 7 yrs id say and i have never personally been in a actual studio. I have a home setup(Very Basic setup lol) That i have used. I was always curious as to how the scene of the studio was and what to expect or how i should approach my 1st time at one and this video definitely answered alot of those questions i have always thought to myself. Thank you for what you do Big Homie. I have grown so much as a Rapper and Lyricist from your methods and advice throughout the past few years and dont plan on stopping anytime soon. This was the absolute best video I've found. Youve gone over every concern i had in my head. I've been watching live studio sessions, and I notice times when the singers tryna do a verse and doing retakes. Obviously idk exactly what they're thinking. But the way I rehearse a verse or hook, every detail matters. So I cant help to think of all these things when a verse as a whole gets retaken. Its very reassuring to know I can step in and say "I like this part but need to do this different".

good video man. sometimes people pay for studio time at an engineers house as well. it is important to respect their home as well as family members. Ask before you go about whether you can bring guests. I regret bringing one of my old friends to a session many years back. It was my first time recording with the engineer and it turned out he was a christian. My old buddy made some random insensitive jokes about religion and we realized later that the engineer was religious. Luckily me and the engineer have a good relationship now, but he is very talented and it would have been a shame if he decided not to book me again
