MADE IT: Custom KC Hilites GOBI Rack Brackets

- Just as things started happening last month, my new KC Hilits Pro6 Gravity lightbar arrived. What a perfect opportunity to spend a little alone time making some custom brackets. I mocked up the brackets in foam core plastic and then transferred the final design over to 5mm steel angle iron. They turned out exactly as I had hoped, which was quite satisfying.

Brien - Gobi actually has light bar mounting brackets available to purchase. The brackets are not easy to locate on the Gobi site, but they are there. The light brackets work on Gobi Stealth and Gobi Ranger racks. They make brackets for the following light bar sizes: 6", 30", 40", and 50".
Regardless, you did an excellent job creating your own brackets.
You can access the light brackets from the GOBI main menu, under "Lights".

Thanks, yeah, I learned that after I made these, but I would have still likely made these since I need mount points for my limb risers as well. I suspect ordering the brackets from Gobi also has a lead time of like 3+ months like all of those other accessories, lol

The lead time for racks, roof top tents and many overland-related products can often be many months. I'm building up a new 2020 JLU Rubicon Recon. I just installed a Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5" Stage 8 suspension lift, 37" Nittos, Teraflex 17" Nomad wheels, Warn Zeon 10S winch. I'm ordering a Gobi Stealth rack today.

Hey David, do they have the 50 inch brackets for the JLs, or is it just for the JKs? I am in the process of ordering a Ranger rack from Gobi and need brackets to mount my pro 6 light bar as well!
I’m trying to do the same set up, let me know if you are experiencing wind noise if So is it bad ?
The way i have them mounted i have zero wind noise!

I am currently in the process of fabricating a supply of these brackets. they will be available both with and without additional limb riser cable kits. Keep an eye on the channel for an announcement when they are ready for sale!
Are they for sale yet? I have the same rack but getting the 50" KC XROSS BAR. Would your bracket fit for that bar?
