The hard-nosed Detroit cop from the original film returns to Los Angeles to help solve another case. This time he must direct his efforts towards unravelling the Alphabet Crimes, a series of robberies committed by leather-jacketed punks. The investigation puts him on the trail of an illegal arms dealer and his hit lady.

This film will always hold a special place in entertainment history because it was the first movie to win Favorite Movie at the Kids Choice Awards.
Which is amazing considering this is an R-rated movie. Darn kids shouldn't be watching this but they were!

This one is a lot more 80s than the last one. The original has its 80s moments with the soundtrack and Michael Jackson references but the style just screams 80s action. The first one ages better, but you’ll enjoy this if you’re into the style of filmmaking.

Great reaction Tim to this solid entertaining sequel....just to let you know that Eddie Murphy (Axle Foley), John Aston (John Taggert) Judge Rinehold (Billy Rosewood), Bronson Pinchot (Serge), Paul Reiser (Jeffrey) all return (with newcomers to the series Joseph Gordon-Levitt & Kevin Bacon) are already working on Beverly Hills Cop 4 (release date sometime this 2023). ✌️

Theres another great movie which is directed by tony scott which is 'Enemy of the state'. It will get you at the edge of your seat.
The Beverly Hills Cop theme song is called Axel F and came out way before the frog techno

Great movie. Beverly Hills Cop 2 is better than the first. You know Sylvester Stallone was suppose to play the lead role in Beverly Hills Cop but he didn't like the script and took his idea of how he wanted to make the story and created Cobra the movie in the poster in Billy house you should watch it also. :)
You should also watch his other movies like The Golden Child and his 48 hours movies.
Also Sly's then wife Brigitte Nielsen (who was also in Cobra & Rocky IV with him) played the main female baddie in this film 😉
And thank god Sly didn't play
very rarely do sequels live up to their predecessor. But BHC 2 does as well as DIE HARD AND DIE HARD 2 live up to each other.
The tall Blonde actress is in Rocky 4. She plays the wife of Drago, Dolph Lundgren’s character from the movie.

Might be my favorite beverly hills cop movie.
This is my favorite Beverly Hills Cop movie because it was directed by Tony Scott (the director of Top Gun (1986)).
The foreman couldn’t call the owner. Young people forget cell phones didn’t always exist..😂. Tracking them down in Hawaii would’ve taken awhile. Great reaction! Thanks.

I love this movie. RIP Dean Stockwell who was in Quantum Leap and Gilbert Gottfried who was In Aladdin. They will be missed. This movie is just as good as the first movie.
I saw Gilbert one day and gave him a nod and he returned it. I purposely didn't speak because I didn't to hear his real voice😂
Enough with the Crazy Frog business. The song is literally called Axel F! hahaha It's a good song though.

I love this movie. A fantastic sequel. Although I still think the lies Axel made up to get into places he shouldn't are far more outlandish and less believable than the first movie. Would people really fall for them?

Please react to the new Matilda The Musical 2022 film, i watched it in cinemas and it was a masterpeice, the actors, the songs by far were amazing and the story felt a lot more complete and fulfilled compared to the storyline of the original matilda film especially regarding Miss Honey's backstory

The drop in quality from the 1st 2 BHC movies to the 3rd is dramatic. Definte unwatchable and not in a fun way.
Fun Fact: Billy has a poster of the movie Cobra. The history of BHC and Cobra are intertwined.
Side note: 10 years ago they filmed a pilot movie for a BHC tv show which saw Eddie return as Axel FOley but the show would follow his son from week to week. The network wanted Eddie to be a cast member but Eddie didn't want to do tv so the show was not picked up. A shame as the pilot got good reviews and would've been picked up but alas it would prolly never be shown.
