@@hennakhan4429 Personification me kisi non living thing ko insaan ka trait dete hai. Example: Death laid its icy hands on him. Death ke haath nahi hote insaano ke hote hai.
Transferred Epithet me insaan ki quality ko non living thing me transfer karte hai. Example: I had a sleepless night. Isme Night sleepless nahi hai. Isme I sleepless hai jo night me transfer kar diya hai.
Pathetic fallacy me non human things ko human emotions diye jaate hai. Example: The rain drops wept around him. Rona human emotion hai jo rain drops (non human) ko diya gaya hai.
Irony me kuch unexpected (soch se ulta) hota hai jo funny hota hai. Example: The police station got robbed. Jab chori hoti hai tab hum police station me jaate hai lekin yaha police station me hi chori ho gayi.
Sarcasm me irony ka istemaal karke kisi ka mazaak udaya jata hai ya use insult kiya jata hai. Example: This is my brilliant kid who failed out of college. Yaha pehle bete ko brilliant bola hai toh koi sochega ki woh bohot samajhdar hai par uske baad bataya hai ki woh fail hua hai. Is tarike se bete ki insult ki hai.
Paradox ek paheli hoti hai jo impossible hoti hai. Example: I can't live with or without you. Yaha writer keh raha hai mai tumhare saath nahi reh sakta. Fir woh kehta hai tumhare bina bhi nahi reh sakta. Dono me se koi ek cheez hi mumkin hai lekin yaha woh dono cheeze saath me keh raha hai isliye yeh namumkin hai.
