While I have been a fan of the new PSX/N64 styled games, I have never seen one that quite captures the vibe and also is a 3D platformer quite like this one, I cannot wait to see more of it!
I know. If you went back in time and said this was a PS2 game people would believe you.

@@conlinmckay1742 What really sells it for me is that it has that it has that PSX/N64 roughness to it. Where so many games in this style fall flat for me is that they'll nail that low-poly look, but the textures and models will just look too smooth and polished. Whereas here they've fully embraced the roughness from the visuals to the music.

god.. i just keep watching this trailer over and over..... i did NOT expect a project THIS cool to just drop on us this random thursday afternoon, but i'm so glad it did....... i can already tell that there's a ridiculous amount of talent and passion just on this two-person team, and i hope that they're able to reel in even more talent through the funding from this kickstarter (which, i backed faster than i've ever backed a kickstarter before lol...) seriously though, i don't think i've ever seen an indie game trailer that so confidently communicates "we know what we're doing". i can tell these guys had a vision and refined it down to a point.... i am REALLY looking forward to this...... and if the attention from twitter and kickstarter so far from less than one day is any indication, i have no doubt that this project will see all the success it deserves......... harrison and quade, if you're reading this, AMAZING work so far and best of luck with the rest of development!!!!!!!!!!!!

Feeling nostalgic for a game that hasn't even come out yet.

This just has the vibe of some old y2k era 3d platformer that got buried by all of its contemporaries when it came out then got a critical re-evaluation like 20 years later with people realizing it was kinda the best of the bunch. I'm excited for this game in a way I haven't been for any other game and I'm very excited to see where it goes!
I love the melancholic music so much, the instrumentation feels more like it belongs in a ps1 or wii jrpg, its beautiful and unique to a 3d platformer

I didn't know I needed this, it looks outstanding. I'm a big fan of the creativity behind the character design, it feels fresh and unique yet nostalgic, but in a contemporary way. Hats off.
This is what Big the Cat in Sonic Adventure should have been.
I downloaded the demo last night and instantly fell in love. You guys understand these visuals on a deeper level than simply some aesthetic choice. I see the passion in all the little design choices you make, it's amazing. I'm not really liquid enough to buy it now, but be sure I plan to support not just your game but your studio every step of the way. Hell, just playing it made me want to stop hesitating and go join a game jam or something.
The smoothness man… like this reminds me so much of Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil from the characters to the music and there is not higher praise I can give for a platformer. Dear god I can’t wait to see this come out ;w;

Saw this while browsing and thought it was just another Klonoa game. I am honestly stunned with the effort in this trailer; I hope you guys manage to create a series of this! You're doing great things! Hope to buy a physical version of the soundtrack when this game (hopefully) releases!

1:12 for some reason....the animation, the dialogue box design, the fuzziness of the screen....this right here gives me the EXACT vibe of PSX/early GameCube that I'm SO NOSTALGIC for. I'm beyond hyped for this.
This looks like an incredible combination of my favorite mechanics from all of my favorite 3D platformers! Sonic-style grind rails, the Sly spire jump, Ninja Gaiden/Prince of Persia-style wall running , momentum mechanics you can use to launch yourself, an attack you can use while still moving, this looks like a masterpiece! It's like you peered into my brain and made my ideal game!
This is the most visually and audibly pleasing game I’ve seen all year, and this is just the trailer!

Great fluid animation, amazing character design, smooth buttery and fluid seamless parkour, a sense of mystery that comes with that PS1/PS2 style, AND to top it all off, an original and appealing cast of characters that are already eye-catching!!! This is gonna be good, heck yeah I'm backing this!!
And let's not forget the music in this trailer, gave me French music type vibes with a little extra razzle dazzle *chef's kiss*
You can just instantly tell that there is something special here and that speedrunners are going to have a hell of a time.

This is the game that will save us all
can’t stress enough how good this looks…not just in terms of gameplay / visuals but also how rock solid the concept is. having the fishing rod be the main form of attack and traversal is genius and i bet it was really satisfying to build a whole world and story from that.
really looking forward to the full release :)
Cool Idea with the fishing pole to swing around. Hope to see sometime the same gimmick but the ability to attach everywhere like Spider-Man games.

this is now one of my most anticipated games ever, i can already tell it'll be a Big Hit, just love everything about it, from character design, to music, and GAMEPLAY + visuals WHICH LOOKS AMAZINGLY SMOOTH, this is going to be a sight to behold, wishing the best to the dev team, i am stunned.

I just completed the demo, and I really can't express how happy I was with just the demo of the game, the style, the music, the gameplay, everything is incredible. I'm really looking forward to the full game.

PS1 is the first console for me to play game. I was like 5 years old. I play multiple game. The nostalgic music, aesthetic, low fidelity polygon graphic, all of them speak to my soul and the comfortableness brought by this trailer is something that other modern games don"t offer, I want more these types of game.
The better fidelity of graphic in modern games is also my favorite, but most modern games don"t have their unique artstyle that differentialize themselves from others.

I love this art style so, so much. But I do hope that some customizable options come with this. I like the pixelated look, but not the sorta blurry CRT-esque look. I like my games to look sharp and crisp, so the ability to turn off some of these post processing effects would be really nice
