@@Danny-ns1tsthe difference is the pro fighters are usually cutting similar amounts of weight and rehydrate to similar weight as their opponent. jake fought a guy that had to bulk to get to 200lbs and still weighed in almost 5 pounds under while he is cutting from like 220
Where does this narrative come from? He was 11lbs heavier. He said he cut 38lbs from when he bulked up for Mike Tyson. 31lbs of fat then 7lb of water for the weigh in. 207lb of fight night not 230.
@@joenu7s Thats not true at all. You’d be surprised how often this happens in pro boxing. Its literally why some fighters enact a rehydration clause. Because every fighter in the division isn’t naturally that weight. Some fighters just have to gain a few pounds to make weight because thats their walk around weight and one guy has to kill himself to make weight. Happens across all combat sports.

Whoever thought that Mike Perry was going to beat Jake Paul who is twice his size was just being ridiculous. Just hearing about the fight my first thought was, aren't they in completely different weight classes? Jake Paul was about to fight Mike Tyson and looking like a damn heavyweight. But the actual fight was not what I expected. I've seen both of them fight before so I expected to see something that looked like skill and training on display. They looked like two people pulled from the crowd and told to fight for money. Commentators said the same thing. No actual boxing skills being used in the fight. What happened? Why did they both look so bad?
Jake was up to over 230. So why doesn't he call out Anthony Joshua. Or Tyson Fury. Why not call out boxers in the weight class your wanting to fight in instead of these small and old MMA fighters?
