In this clip, CJ talks about the bidding war that ensued after his song "Whoopty" blew up. He details the way in which his hit song gained traction on the East coast before eventually climbing the charts, nationwide. The 25-year-old also shares that the music video was temporarily pulled from RUclips because it contained samples from a Bollywood (India) song called "Sanam Re." Lastly, CJ reveals that his team had to pay more than $80K in order to clear the song.

Original song was also hit from where they sampled it. The song went viral bcoz of tge sample only as it has very catchy beat. The sample was from song "sanam re" which a bollywood hit🙌
2:15 The matter of fact is that 80k Dollar for Indian Music Industry is "Peanut". Its Close to 6.6 Million Indian Rupee. The Indian track was created by a famous Music director and the track itself gained popularity in India as sung by a famous Indian Singer who is 50 times famous than CJ here in India and a Billionaire . If it was other way round, the indian track would have been blocked permanently with No discussions on negotiations. I would have expected CJ and Team to Accept that the Initials were taken "As it as" from an Indian Movie. Should have labelled the Indian Music Director in the song. RESPECT was missing

Well in his defense, here in Philly we had some clubs and House parties start to kick back up during the summer of that year can't speak for NYC or other areas but it's somewhat plausible
