love how the both of you are so culturally sensitive when addressing the different foods, comparing to other youtubers. not saying insensitive comments like, "ew" "yuck" "this is disgusting" when it doesn't suit your palate, but rather being so open to trying to new things! love that about the both of you xxx

@Msleah8784 Well India is a country of 29 states. One state makes curry COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from the next. Each Indian state has a different language, culture and food than the next. Most people just think India is the same all over, it's not. Lol. I grew up eating food from my mom's state in Madras. So, I don't like curry from some other states, especially Goa and some other regions.

Recommendations for your next indian meal ...
    1) Butter chicken
    2) Chicken biryani
    3) Shahi paneer
    4) Palak paneer ( hard to find but gold and one of the most different flavours you would experience)
For bread try Laccha paratha instead of garlic naan ... Its a super flaky whole wheat flat bread paired best with a paneer/ chicken curry
For dessert if you can find authentic
Ras malai ( the best dessert hands down nobody comes close ) ... Its made with condensed milk and saffron

I am pushing 70 years old now and grew up in a community that was primarily white. There were a few Asians and several indigenous people as we neighbored a reserve. Then one day when I was roughly 9 a new family moved in across the street. A type of people I didn't know existed. He wore a dark grey suit and had a dark blue turban on his head. She wore a bright red and gold dress, had gold jewelry everywhere, and had a red dot between her eyes. I was totally captivated by this very lovely couple and am still captivated by the culture and their food. So much so that I bought a home within one of their communities and was welcomed with open arms by all. They even had their own fast food restaurants and buffet restaurants that served nothing but Indian food.

Just one advice, if you wish to truly enjoy indian cuisine, wash your hands, clean them on a towel, mix your rice and the curries/gravy using your hands and have it with your hands. Indian food is epic! So glad to see you eating that rather than fast food, processed packaged poison. Btw Talia, heartburn isn't something everyone has, it's the result of a diet that is too acidic, which is a breeding ground for bacteria, fungus, parasites, and other pathogens. What you eat matters! 💖 And it's not just hot sauce and spices and the normal things you may think of. Processed sugar is THE biggest acid-forming substance. Sugar is poison.

Loved this video!! Thank you being so respectable and open. Many youtubers just straight up disrespect the food without knowing what to eat and make bad conclusions. You trying all the gravy items with rice was absolutely how you should have eaten it. Please try more dishes ❤❤

NO HATE but ,I don't know why every foreign youtuber just puts this same stereotypical background music ,when they are doing something related to India. sometimes it's irritating to hear the same music over and over again . (0:22)

As an Indian it was great to see you both trying our food. All of that you've tried today is exclusively from the Punjab/Haryana region in India which is up North.
Please do try from other regions as well. East, West and South of India. All the flavours are very very different from each other.
