dwarf priest, wand til deadmines, heal until sm cath geared, switch to shadow, 2 lvls in tannaris, zf to 50, then heal dungeons to 60, I will skin and disenchant everything lol
As someone who’s never healed in classic done a tiny bit in retail is it difficult? Was thinking of doing the same thing healing to a point then switching to shadow

I would like to add in for pally lvling. it picks up at around lvl 33 when you can start pulling 3 targets at a time, just go holy/prot at that time. pick up consecration and then work your way down the prot tree to reckoning and sanc. prio of the eagle/whale gear for stam/int and stam/spirit. use SoL and judge light. pick up a knightly sword for a 1 hander. the 1.5 swing speed will keep you alive with your seal and just aoe down 3-4 mobs at a time. if ur mana is not sustaining with blessing of sanc just use wisdom. faster than 2h dps and then at that point you are geared enough to LFG as heals or tank at that point if you get tired of grinding.
this is how I made it to 60 in HC hehe when you can get holy shield, this set up with uther strenght + skullflame shield and spikes + demon forged breastplate you can just aoe farm and grind like crazy, enemies are just killing themselves by attacking you

im thinking of playing wow classic , i played only in wod and legion era... rogue and shaman.. are shamans or druids viable to play casual? i mean for pvp, dungeons/party, raiding... but primarily for pvp.. or should i roll some other class..
yes, and both classes are really good. druid is the go to FC in WSG, also a complete menace in wpvp. Ele & enhance are a blast to play in pvp. I plan on leveling an ele sham in the future
@Danny_79 before this change playing affliction warlock in a raid was never going to happen because you could not use half your dots because they would knock off important debuffs. Now you could play affliction and it might even be really good

With this fresh I'll go with Druid. Really love the Night Elfs and with Druid I can tank low level dungeons without problem and also can DPS if need it and with some gear in the bag I can even heal. They can do everything! Also the extra movement speed always helps a lot. I love play as Warrior but man, there will be just a lot of Warrior with this fresh servers and nah, I want to play something different. Maybe will have a hunter alt just for fun
Don't be discouraged from tanking as a druid, as that is probably their strongest role. Last go around I was off-tanking in Naxx no problem in my guild. They make very good off-tanks in raids, (although not MTs) where an extra innervate and BR can come in handy, and are more than viable for dungeons at all levels. Their weakest points are they don't have that much gear tailored for them (no tier sets), so you are often looking for very specific high armour bits and pieces to be most effective. Also you will need to farm Gnomer for pummelers even as a tank for burst threat (and god help you if you raid as a feral cat).

I don't know if I will go that hard with the raids since I expect a more chill approach and this time will be my first experience with raids :') But in overall, I'm really hyped for this fresh classic. I also put a vacation day this friday in the job to go thurday since afternoon/night to 3-4am friday
@@espanaftw Just to clarify, you absolutely don't need pummelers to hold threat, they are only used if you need a massive threat burst increase: for example if you are tanking an untauntable boss that does a stacking debuff and need to take over from each other periodically. To be honest they aren't even that often that you need them. Typically I used to have 2 weapons that I swapped between for either threat or mitigation as needed: The Qiraji War Hammer and the iconic Warden Staff. You don't need them for dungeons either, threat was never a problem unless you were under levelled in a dungeon and some idiot was going ham before you had a chance to hit the mobs..but that was true of all tanks in classic.
Man, I'm super torn between the class I always, always, play (druid) or trying something new and interacting with pvp more with classes like mage or rogue, or even shaman
Can't go wrong with mage or rogue, both really fun classes. Shaman you will almost always be able to find a raid since their utility is so sought after!
I feel you. As a feral Druid main for years it was very hard to leave that playstyle for a disc priest but trust me, trying something new is so worth it especially now with the fresh servers.
Can't go wrong with Warrior. Healing as a pally you can try to scoop up some 2 handers if no one wants them for PvP, setting you up quite nicely for TBC
I always run a hunter first, they level fast, pet can tank, the are the best gold farmers. I get a hunter to 45, then send the gold I make to my main which is Normally a Rogue, Warrior.

I want to play bear again in TBC but the idea of playing a druid in vanilla gives me a headache. I don't know how we can go back to classic classic after all the spec improvements in SoD
Can’t decide between resto shaman or resto druid. I did resto druid in 2019, with no buff limit, I could be more generous with the HoTs this go around with regrowth or swiftmend spec, not sure tho

Dual spec doesn’t belong in TBC or vanilla and if THEY MUST have it in vanilla you need to have to go to your inn or trainer in order to activate your other spec. This is game breaking and worth quitting over.

@ I think during pre patch they increased the movement spreed on the mobs so you couldn’t round them up like all the mages were doing, I was doing 250+ mobs a pull with all the hydras

I would play warlock, they are great in PvE & PvP With dual spec coming, shadow priest might be on the table in raids if you have too many healers. You can get a priest to go shadow for more dps also giving your warlocks a boost in dps
@@dhoff82 I would have to say Shadow Priest. Warlock is a bit more difficult in PvP due to managing your pet. Knowing when to sacrifice your pet, or use them to dispel magic debuffs
i have one negative point, dont tell people what they should to play, stop this min maxing, the only thing what happens is just toxicraider and only want metagamers and the casuals will fall behind.
don't call it vanilla , this is only a recycled garbage once gain with a few tweaks. the real deal was in 04 when nobody knew the game , no BIS rush bs and no streamer cancer

Back in early 2005 I was a level 58 Rouge using maces invited into Molten Core to fill space, and I tried to use expose armor. Ooops

warrior dps, caster dps, rogues ... priests are in high demand for heals being best healer in classic.
I'd say play Priest or pally as they are always in demand. You also can never go wrong with warrior

Problem is druid HoTs aren't mana efficient. They'll just go oom more quickly if they start tossing them around.

Horde are still very competitive in speed runs & kill times. If you want to really min max, play alliance for speed runs

Private servers are buggy and full of exploits and corruption.
My biggest worry with private servers is potentially getting shut down, and losing all of my characters progress
