Back and better than ever for 2022 I'm really struggling to find points of concern to point out on this one. It's simply SO well executed!!
The new exterior really impresses me and I think is a solid step forward vs. last year's design. As is the new factory towing hitch!
But what always gets me is simply the crazy "backwards" layout of this one! EVERY room in this RV breaks all the "Rules" front living room fifth wheels seem to typically follow and the end result is something I would definitely love for full-time RVing use!!
And remember if you don't care for that half-bath Jayco is now offering a new "Butler Pantry" option instead!

*Hey everyone.. I SCREWED UP 😆. I mention in this video how you’re now able to swap the half bath for a butler pantry. It’s come to my attention that I got my wires crossed. That is NOT currently available on the 2022’s but MAY be considered for the 2023’s. The PINNACLE version of this layout has both the half bath and butler pantry options. Sorry about that! Josh in the kitchen and living room if two people are watching tv will they drowned each other out with the sound? Or if someone is watching TV in the living room will that sound interrupt anybody in the kitchen area from the TV?
@@henryschnitzer6093 I believe each TV's audio is independent but I could be mistaken. I haven't had the opportunity to play with one quite that much

This Front Living/Rear Bath is the BOMB! Hopefully one day soon it will be available in smaller units.
Please pass it on to the manufacturer that MANY buyers would prefer to swap that half-bath for a washer dryer sothat they can still have the hanging closet in the bedroom. Or consider a solar powered chest freezer with some extra shelving - or some combination of those things.
PLEASE tell the different manufacturers that they are missing out on a HUGE market... Hundreds of thousands of single, solo workers such as traveling construction workers, or retirees who just want a nice yet affordable home to park it and live in it.
I am willing to bet my paycheck that at least 1/3rd of all RVer's fall into those categories and have NO desire for an rv that sleeps 47 people. Give me a twin or full size bed with some actual leg room around it any day.
And lastly... As you consider what I have written here... try to recall the ol' song by RUSH... Working Man. :)

Who needs another pantry when you have all those beautiful kitchen cupboards, a second potty would be wonderful. You do not need to use it when you are in the kitchen……..this model makes me salivate!!

Since the main bathroom is behind the master bed, it's nice to have a guest toilet room, but not in the kitchen. I would have a wall there and put the door in the hallway instead. I like the large living room. I guess it would be nice for those who have company. I also like the kitchen nook for the table and chairs.

This is my dream layout. The day I win the lottery, I'm getting one! lol Personally, love the half bath. Would like to see more storage in there too, some cabinetry above the toilet perhaps to take advantage of all that space.
1/2 bath. Daytime & overnight guests don't have to walk through the master bedroom to use the bathroom at all hours of the day/night. Room for stackable washer & driers, nice! As for a name...Josh the Nerd's fun house RV.
Love the FLRBs, that switched televator location was a great idea. I am always a suckered for front windshields too.

I really like this rig with exception to two things.. 1) half bath off kitchen, they can certainly figure out how to have the entry from the hall verses the kitchen, I for one would prefer the half bath if they could just relocate the entry door. 2) Double sinks in the main bath, it’s not needed. I love the basins but, give me one a little larger, center it on the cabinet and give me drawers on both sides with storage underneath the sink, move the toilet over closer to sink cabinet and give additional closet space for towels and linens.

OMG OMG OMG....absolutely PERFECT except tub in the shower and small dishwasher. IT'S Fantastic. Gorgeous and PERFECTTTTT floor plan. This is the ONE!
I would have left out the second sink in the full bath and moved the toilet over a bit, that would give taller people more room. I would definately choose the pantry over the half bath though. Other than that, its a very nice looking unit.

Butler pantry for me and electric fridge. I don't have that many people over and if they do come they already know I'm weird when they walk through the bedroom. This is to big for me to tow so I'd just park it somewhere nice

Love the pantry option. I also love the tv in the kitchen. Nothing better than cooking while watching Dateline. I love the larger sinks, but it isn’t a dealbreaker for me. I really love the valences in this. Clean and modern and simple.
I do wish you could get the white wood everywhere. I’m just not a fan of the dark wood.
And I will forever love the removable cup holders. Especially here because you have the small shelves next to the recliners to hold a drink. You can move the cup holders to the couch where the kids are to prevent both spills and “SHE’S TOUCHING ME!”
Love the space in the bathroom. Easy place to get ready for the day or for bed.
So excited about the outdoor kitchen and all that storage!
The ranch cheezit grooves are even better. Somehow. I hide them from my children. And my camping drink of choice is whatever somebody hands me!

Outstanding layout for a couples camper. Definitely prefer the butlers pantry though.
Roadkill cafe chain started in Maine and then they opened a few more. One of the craziest places to eat and work. The staff were allowed, and encouraged to screw with the patrons and they got pretty good at it. The owner went in with an investor and that was the beginning of the end of a great place. Banks running restaurants don't work. His son bought the one in Bartlett New Hampshire and ran it for 5-6 years before selling it and the name. They used to get applications from all over the country from theater schools because of the unique opportunity to interact with customers. I was there when a waitress yelled "You call that a tip!" and chased them out of the restaurant with a super soaker going full blast!!

I enjoyed going to the Road Kill Cafe in York Beach, Maine until it suddenly closed, and now I know why. It has been The Lobster Cove for many years now and I believe it is run by the owners of The Goldenrod which is famous for it’s salt water taffy since 1896!!!

This rv is a winner. Only negative I see is the lack of hanging closet space in bedroom. Wife would have a hard time fitting all her 'necessary' clothes in. Love all the outside storage. Too bad they don't give an option to turn one of the couches into a desk area for all of us that work from home in our rv.
Yeah I get that. You really have to leverage the W/D closet vs. hanging space but for the rest of it.. I'd FIND a way

I like the reversed living room with the half bath. This is definitely the family model. If the parents want to go to bed the kids can stay up and watch tv and the noise and light wont flood the whole rig. I would add 2 things a curtain divider for the living room and change the island lights to a ceiling fan. I like more toilet space so I would be okay with 1 sink. That way you could have the stackable on one side and storage on the other.

Seriously, though, so many great features in this one! Love the layout, the rooms, decor, white accent lights, storage, outside kitchen, that super overlander package option... so many details, I can't even remember everything! Very versatile, very full-time livable, very comfortable and luxurious.

This is the living room set up I've been looking for! It appears that everyone can see the TV. Personally, I need more room around the bed. LOVE the rear bath.
Heritage glen has a version of this coming as well I'm eager to show off. We'll see if they can get you more space around the bed
I love this layout. If guests do invade they can be cordoned off so the kitchen can still be accessible if they sleep in.

I guess I'm reaching a bit with this one, but it's more of a suggestion for all RV manufacturers: It would be nice if they offered an option (for those who need it) that allows the bathroom mirror to tilt up. That way, us tall dudes can actually see ourselves when we shave, brush out teeth, wash up, comb out hair, etc...
I say _"option"_ because I would want people who don't need it to be burdened by the extra cost and/or weight.

Love the counter space on both sides of the stove, love the front living room, hate not having a nightstand on each side of the bed, hate not having more room on each side of both toilets because us girls need that space for our knees when we clean ourselves up. We would rather have one sink and more space around the toilets.

OMgoshhhhhh! If I was wearing socks mine would be knocked off too! Do those living room glass fronted cabinets look like they could be gun cabinets to you? I really like the living room being elevated. I have heard that food gets stuck in the corners of those square farm sinks so I'm a little leary of them. Fantastic job Josh. This master bath is much nicer and elegant than any bathroom anyone in my family has ever had. I like the convenience of the 1/2 bath location if cooking and if up in the livingroom but full time Living may be nice to be able to store and carry more groceries but I'd have to look at this unit in person as is to inspect carefully the kitchen storage. Love the stove and side counter space and would definitely choose that split fridge/freezer

I so far love this 5th wheel and love the carpetless floors. That being said this next question may seem weird to many. But in this front living room design which is my favorite can you ever choose to have the furniture or at least have both as a option of leather and a nice cloth. Leather is hot when hot and very cold when cold and scratches bad and yes easier to clean but with lot's of dogs That would be traveling with me don't want the couches all mared up.
MFGs offer only specific decors which includes furniture covering. Right now that leatherette stuff has becomes the dominant thing in RVing. You may be really surprised what an upholstery shop can do making a seat cover though. I've seen some REALLY nice ones

I watch a lot of your videos and this one just happened to come across my radar and 'might' be the 'one'. It certainly checks most of the boxes. The one thing I can see missing is a ceiling fan with light kit. I really like a fan for air circulation when not using A/C. I personally don't care for front living but my husband does and at 6'7" he might actually fit in this one. Ceiling height in the raised areas of a fifth wheel is something that is rarely mentioned in videos. THANK YOU for mentioning it! I sure wish they had the option for a desk instead of one of the slide sofas because I can and do work from RV. Based on RV groups I am a member of, many RVers could use a dedicated workspace. That is something that I can remedy myself in this RV. I, along with a lot of others, hate the fake leather furniture. ALL manufacturers seem to be using it so I am stuck with it I guess. For a front living RV, this has a fair amount of counter space in the kitchen. I want a half bath accessible close to the door and accessible with the slide IN. It has it. My husband wants an outside kitchen with sink. It has it. We both want a coat closet by the door. It has it. I want a W/D hookup that is not in the closet in the nose of the RV. It has it. The outside fridge is really small but we can put a second one in the compartment next to it. I have been researching for 3 years (we will probably upgrade in another 3) so I guarantee I have seen 95% of the fifth wheel floor plans out there and this one has been added to my 'notebook' as a 'definite maybe.' If I can find a plan that checks this many boxes, has a ceiling fan, AND has a bigger outdoor fridge (our current one holds 36 adult beverages plus condiments), this one may drop down on the 'maybe' list. But for now, it is right at the top!

Ceiling fans are something uncommon in elevated living models for headbanger purposes 😉
Otherwise they’re in normal lower-level-living north points
@@JoshtheRVNerd I found a kitchen that I like more in another front living floor plan that does have the ceiling fan BUT then I have to give up the coat closet by the door! I definitely DO love that the W/D hookup is not in the bedroom closet though. I also noticed that the awning setup has changed from what it was in the floor plan at the beginning of the video. II don't l think I like the fact that with the new setup, I may get wet when going out to sit under the awning when it rains which we do often. I can't win....Keepin' on researchin'...

It's subjective but my personal opinion is the exterior on these is now far superior to what it used to be
Probability less expensive then a 2nd or vacation home. I think the 1/2 bath is practical unless you open it up to s Campground 🤣.....but probably have to go back to school to learn how to operate it. Different strokes for different folks. Have a wonderful day!

Getting into the fridge is important for crossing the USA/Canada border. I'd like to see the main door awning moved back along the unit to provide more coverage in the door area.
Do you have to allow the border folks to check the fridge contents? I've never crossed and despite all my years it's the first time someone has mentioned this. That's interesting info!
@@JoshtheRVNerd , both countries have restrictions under their respective agriculture legislation, mostly about fresh food. They sometimes want to see what’s in the fridge. My wife checks the website of the destination country in the morning before crossing (because it changes), makes sure we’re good and writes a list of what we’re carrying. I’ve had them enter the trailer (Montana 3400RL), which has the fridge straight across from the door, and check. Also, I’ve had them call it off when I said, “I have no idea, but the wife has a list…”. They’re looking for people who either have no clue about the issue or people who are reluctant to let them in the trailer.
Love those apartment sized ranges. Its not just the bigger oven ether the main burner on that stove goes up to 12... k btu instead of the 7 to 9k you see on most rv stoves.
Edit: I have an oven that size in my house you can fit more then just a small bird in it. I've roasted 20+ pound enormous turkey's in it. This kitchen is officially thanksgiving dinner capable.

That is a beautiful rig. Great for full timers. That is a great outdoors kitchen. Now if they could add a place for a pullout drawer to put my smoker on!

@@JoshtheRVNerd all meat is better on a pellet smoker. Burgers, dogs, steaks, brisket, chicken, you name it, even pizza! It is an RV pellet smoker, same size as blackstone 22” grill. If I ever get to your part of our wonderful country I’ll stop by and cook something for you and your team.

Gosh we love this layout! What a beauty! So, so much to love: big farm sink, drinking water system, great kitchen, double sinks and window seat in master, 2 seater dinette with 2 extra folding chairs, storage galore everywhere, etc, etc, etc. The ONLY change we would suggest is eliminating the camp side couch and replacing it with a small desk and chair. Is that possible? And is this a ¾ or full ton tow?
Desk and chair really isn’t possible because that slide doesn’t go down to the floor. There’s no way to get your legs under a desk (which is different for rvs with the slides on the lower deck)
I would recommend SRW for this at least and you wouldn’t regret a dually for handling and stability
I can actually see that half-bath being used as a smallish office instead.
Nicely done, but I’ll definitely do the pantry option with no question ask.. toilet by the kitchen is immediately NO.. Front living setup is amazing

I would prefer a pantry instead of 1/2 bath, keep bsrn slide door please. Also only need one sink in bathroom, would love space for hamper.
instead of three couches, put a work station table up there fully supporting the stay at trailor employee

I really love that idea -- a lot actually. But the challenge there is the slides in which those sofas reside don't go all the way down to the floor which makes the logistics of using the space as a desk difficult. The "seat" of the sofa is basically on the floor of the slide.
You need to find the transformers sound effects for the "destination mode"!

And yeah, I am familiar with the pinnacle series but, still haven't seen any vibrant color combinations like the Riverstone and Beacon's have , ya know? They seem to be mostly the gray/white or beige/brown colors. Unless i'm missing something here? Which is entirely possible!
