This song may be a sequel to Bullet.
In Bullet, Charlie is a troubled man wanting to commit suicide. Johnny is Charlie's best friend, attempting to talk to Charlie about it and talk him out of suicide. In the end though, Charlie ends up doing it.
In this song, Johnny is mourning over his best friend's suicidal death. He wants to commit suicide too now. Charlie now plays the role of an angel above, persuading Johnny to do it so they both can be "friends forever," meeting and never parting in the afterlife. Backing me up is Charlie's heavenly voice during his verse, and just listen closely to the lyrics and you'll understand.
Just proves Charlie's still a sadistic madman even after death.

If there is one thing that Hollywood Undead is amazing at, it's storytelling in their music. They always paint such vivid pictures, whether, it's ridiculous, scary, or depressing.

Actually, since I've discovered them I've been wondering why their songs are so different. You know what I'm talking about. This, Bullet, Everywhere I go etc.
Then in 'believe' there was this line ' every song is a lifespan'
and it got me thinking, maybe that's the case. Maybe they somehow are actually showing different lives through their music. Someone suicidal, heartbroken, in a club... idk, maybe that's dumb and I'm just digging too deep, but I like to think about it.

“i don’t know much, but this i know, i miss my friend, i miss him so.” i first listened to Hollywood Undead in middle school just bc i liked their sound but today as a freshman in college this line is completely different to me. 8 days after graduation my best friend was killed in a car accident and i’m at the point of grieving that i’m okay most of the time but sometimes it hits me really hard and listening to this song today for the first time in years hit me really hard... i truly still love this song to this day

Hollywood Undead DOES create a variety of differently tuned songs with mixed genres, but that's something I love about them. I can understand people disliking their music for the changes they've made, but I'm not one. As a whole majority, I appreciate nearly every song they've made. From Swan Songs to Day of the Dead. From the original six to the feat. and Danny.
If I can connect with the song, feel their emotion, and of course it sounds amazing, then it's a good song(to me.) That's all I need to feel content. Them changing genres between songs is never permanent. Variety is the spice of death.

The first thought that came to me was about my little brothers. As of today, I haven't seen them in four years, and I miss them so much.
i see bullet, rain, and i'll be there are a trilogy of songs because bullet is about charlie killing himself but johnny trying to talk him out of it but charlie still does it. and rain is about how charlie regrets killing himself and he misses johnny, and johnny misses him to. so i'll be there is about johnny missing charlie to a point that he is going to kill himself to be with charlie but charlie tells him not to and says that he should go on and live his life and that they will be together again some day.

My best friend of over 20 years took his life 7 years ago today. One of the final things he did was introduced me to this song. I listen to this song on repeat every year. It seems so fitting.

These guys are one of my favourite bands, honestly. Been listening to them for around 6 or 7 years since my brother introduced me to them.
This is one of the few songs getting me through the pandemic. I work in an assisted living, dietary, and have lost so many residents and even some that are still here are never gonna be back to themselves. I formed so many connections with these people, knew all their stories, and now they're just gone. I miss my friends that went away...

I was very close to someone who committed suicide during early junior year of high school. I found this song in middle school, but it wasn't until that point in highschool where the lyrics hit harder than they every have. A couple of years have passed (I am a freshman in college), but I still come back to this song every so often because of the meaning it has from my perspective. I'm majoring in psychology because it is what he always wanted to do and I have a goal to be able to work with and spread awareness for younger people that struggle with depression and other mental illnesses.

This song seriously hits me on a personal note. When you really listen to the lyrics, it accurately describes how depression feels - the actual mental health, not just the emotion of being sad. Whenever I need reminding to keep going, I listen to this and it reminds me of everything I have instead of the things I don't.

This song is so dear to me. I've met a girl once, we immediately clicked and i was in heaven from that moment on. We are both spiritual, and hollywood undead was already one of my favorite bands back then too. She was also a fan. One day i had a sort of vision, that everything would go to shit. That same day i discussed this dream that i had with her, and later on that day she got into a car crash. The meaning was gone, for years on. It just wasn't the same feeling even with my previous ex. She was a friend, but also more than that. Now i'm moving forward from that, and living is the hardest part. But i'm trying to be there, even if she isn't here anymore. And that my friends is, the least i can do for her. :)
