What a fabulous performance. I can't get enough of Stephan MacLeod's lovely and precise bass/baritone
I share your sentiments. I enjoy all of his performances both with the group in Trogen and Amsterdam!
He is AMAZING and I love the way he directs the couple of Motets with the folks in the Netherlands Bach Society.
Macleod’s “ Mache Dich Mein Herze Rein “ is the greatest Performance ever Recorded .
Indeed one of the best performances I have listened to so far. As excellent as that of 1958 with D. FiDi / Karl Richter.
oh amazing! Celestial! So beautiful...
Wonderful performance with a fantastic voice full of deep colours
Fantastica interpretazione di un meraviglioso JS Bach. Bravissimo il basso - baritono.
Ausgesprochen angenehme und tragende Stimme, hervorragende Interpretation. Beste jüngere Aufnahme, Danke.
OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE!!!! Gorgeous voice and trumpet!!!!
A wonderful Interpretation!!Very clear and his voice with a fine tune and full of colours!!Thank you very much!!Very nice!
Wonderful performance indeed
Stephen McLeod, Peter Mattei, Philip Jaroussky - the top three in the world! Or, indeed, of all time. Several years and political trauma for me between Stephen's "Mache Dich Mein Herze Rein" and discovering his "Grosser Herr..." wouldn't have made it without him and the other two "angelic" voices! Attributed to both S. Catherine of Siena and Teresa of Avila..."God sent His singers on this earth with songs of gladness and of mirth, that they might win the hearts of men and bring them back to Heaven again..." "Angels" on loan to this crazy world! Thank you, Stephen!
One of my favourite pieces sung by one of my favourite Bases - wonderful. Thank you.
Listening to this yet again while staring at "my" beautiful Rocky Mountains!!
Preciosa cantata de J.S Bach.Oyéndola uno cree estar muy cerca De Dios.Gracias ,otra vez a # wocomo barroco.Estáis constantemente repartiendo cultura y sensibilidad.
Excelente interpretación donde se puede escuchar con claridad la melodía, al contrario que los interpretes habituales donde sólo se escuchan "ha-ha-has", y la melodía no suena.
👏👏👏👏👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷
