The earliest I've ever been- Xunia is such a fresh track! The ethnic indian tune, with the orchestra and rock just make something super epic. Not many composers can pull off something like this. This is really a track that grew on me to be honest, but now I love it!
I can recommend Christopher Tin as well. He made more classical ochestra's but each track is in another language interwined with cultural aspects as well. Pleasure to listen to.
Nothing Tin has ever written comes close to this level of crazy thought. Xunia is in a class if it’s own for good and bad

What makes Thomas unique is his ability to convince us that the impossible is always possible. He always takes me on a journey across the continents in a glimps of time. I always listen to his songs as if I'm travelling between cultures in a time machine. Thomas, I'm very proud of you and listening to your music is such a privilege.

Feels like you're travelling through the East. The vocals, the melody, reflecting your solemn journey across the continent. You're leaning out of the window of a puffing express. The wind is in your hair. It bites into your eyes, as you are staring into the adventure. The landscape passes by, and a white trail of smoke is being left behind.
One picture can describe a thousand words while music can paint a thousand pictures.
Man this track is something else. Humanity is one of the best albums Thomas produced in his career. The blending of traditional Indian folk music with modern rock, strings and the influence of EDM, really makes this piece srand out. Absolutely beautiful!

That brass part at 3:29 gets me every time
It's a rich blend of so many elements. Richness in melodies, richness in diverse instruments, genres... all in one song. Thomas is exceptional at transcending the musical genre boundaries that limit most compositions. Definitely one of my favorites!
I have a dream, that TSFH´s music will one day become mainstream and we will hear it in the radio.

XUNIA!!! This is my favorite song of Chapter V, perhaps one of my favorite songs of the Humanity series. Maaybe even one of my favorite Thomas Bergersen songs ever. Which is saying A LOT. I absolutely love everything about this song. It makes my day every time I listen to it. :)

Mindblowing masterpiece. This is easily one of the most creative piece from Humanity.
I have been waiting for this ever since the album was published. I can't even describe my love for this song. Such pure joy emanating from this song, it is almost palpable. No matter how bad my day is, this will always make me smile, especially the part from 3:23. And the context of song is even better, celebrating the one of the biggest and happiest moments in one's lives. Thank you Thomas for this gift to Humanity and humanity. 🥰😍😘💓💓💓

@@teguhf.2084 Imma cheat slightly as I consider two tracks as a 2-parter. [in no specific order of awesomeness]
1. Xunia (maybe the best fusion of world music I've heard from TSFH)
2. Rocket to the Moon -> Cruising in Space (I'm a sucker for programmatic music, and this evokes glory and determination)
3. Arcade Master (Best synth/orchestral blend IMO. Feels like it tells a story of some serious video game competition in a campy good vs evil battle)
4. Shiver Me Timpanis (the pinnacle thus far of their pirate music IMHO. If they release an instrumental and/or orchestral variant, I'll ascend.)
5. Enchantress (I'm a sucker for sonata form & leitmotifs. The recapitulation is god tier.)
Honorable Mention: Cloud Maker (the bridge of this song is sooo good. Great build up of tension and release)

I asked a Pakistani friend of mine what the lyrics meant and he told that it's a happy song about a woman wanting to get married and asking her parents for permission.
"Listen, mother, talk to father, ask him to get me married"
Followed by the mother saying.
"Don't be so eager, you've gone so many years, go a few more months."
If someone else is willing to flesh out this rough translation, feel free to do so.
Any chance he told you what language they're singing in?
