We are privileged to be living in a time where the world is seemingly falling apart; yet we have some beautiful music to rekindle our spark and interest to savor the lovely things human beings produce with their creativity for our reflection and enjoyment. Thank you Mr. Bergersen.
"the world is seemingly falling apart" - emphasis on "seemingly". The world is a better place than ever. Don't let media clutter your view of the world too much.
I agree with your sentiments about Mr. Bergersen, however, I find your lack of confidence in the world to be quite alarming. The world is greater now than it has ever been in all of human history. We should be grateful that we live in our current time because a hundred years ago, people didn't have the resources and opportunities that we have right now. We should remain positive as best as we can because our futures will inevitably lead to our children's futures, as well as other people's futures too. This is one of the most important aspects of our lives and should be instilled in all of us. I hope you will recognize these ideas at one point or another and as always, good luck in all your future endeavors.
I agree with Windaros. Terrible things are happening on the news every day (especially here in America), but keep faith & remember that these things only make the news because they are so rare.
It seems to me that this album was released in such a divisive time for America because it is meant to serve as a reminder on what the U.S.A. was founded on, and that those principles should never be forgotten. The country has never been perfect, and it never will be, but it can still be the light of hope in the darkest of times. This album reminds us that it is still worth believing in the American Dream--so that all who seek out happiness may find it.
This whole mix embodies what once was and hopefully will be again the Soul of America and the dream it has. Like all nations, it goes though rough times that will soon make men strong to rebuild the dream so that peace and prosperity can flourish again. There is still hope in the hearts of mankind and by the love and grace of God, America will be the light to this benighted world!
This is one of the most beautiful compositions I have ever heard. Thomas Should be proud of what he has accomplished and he will forever be ingrained in my, and many others, memories. Thank you Mr. Bergersen and as always, good luck in all your future endeavors.

37:09 Marks quite a change in mood. Definitely reminiscent of John Williams in how he writes brass. Very nice nod, Mr. Bergersen. Your work never ceases to amaze my ears and imagination ❤
I hear a lot of John Williams inspiration in this. But Thomas has made the style his own, proving he can adapt to any style. Its amazing. It has he flavor of free sailing themes from Jaws and a hint at the old adventure serials. Very uplifting . . makes me want ot have an adventure.
I'm joining the exciment of this awesome Thomas' job & great TSFH step. The feeling of the "American Dream" is real & still alive. People trust & hope a better life, everyone deserves one, and as a human being, you only need courage, passion & will. Present times are heavy, savage & even painful... As I'm from a country with these dreams, seeing people leaving their home to reach there... It's poetic & fascinating (eventhrough, sample of unequality...). So, TSFH deserves, at least, being appreciate all around the world, in much languages.... *¡Gracias TSFH por darnos experiencias, sentimientos y emociones ansiadas en la vida. Los sueños son reales y uds son prueba de ello!*
There is something wonderful in the title Quien Eres Tu. I looked up the meaning, which is 'who are you?' in Spanish. Not only are these songs beautiful and relaxing, but they provide an amazing escape to the imagination. I can just see a Spanish pirate meeting the one seeking the American dream and asking that very question while holding said person at swordpoint.
Nick Phoenix is from London, and Thomas Bergersen is Norwegian. Having left their native lands to try their luck in Los Angeles with Two Steps From Hell, coincides with the "American Dream" of this composition by Thomas Bergersen

Man, what a piece of music. Love to see and hear this performed. Has that same richness of sound and intelligence that Korngold and Hansen had. You'd really need a competent orchestra to make this work. You can tell the orchestra likes this. It's all in 4/4 time. Wow!
No, no it didn't. The American dream is a hoax preached by those descended from the bastards who clambered to the top by ruthlessly taking advantage of others and drowning them along the way. The United States is a nation of poverty (both economic and intellectual) and immorality. Virtue is an alien concept to those who claim the American dream exists or ever existed.
The Great Chairman Fred Hampton - The US ranks 19th for GDP per capita. If that means economic poverty to you, then places like Sweden (26th), Germany (27th), and Canada (34th) must be REALLY impoverished. You must be talking about economic poverty at the individual level. Such individual poverty is largely a choice, in my experience. A choice driven by mindset and attitude. A choice made by people who are either so blinded by their victimhood mentality that they can't see the opportunities dancing right in front of their faces, or who are simply too lazy to pursue them. As for intellectual poverty, you do have a point there. Our schools no longer educate. They indoctrinate. Instead of teaching children the skills they need to succeed in life, they are taught that they are victims of racism, patriarchy, this or that phobia, or whatever hashtag is trending on Twitter that day. It's what drives the poverty mindset, it's sickening to see, and it's no wonder at all that this attitude exists. Finally, regarding your last statement, you must have a very low opinion of the hundreds of thousands of immigrants who come to the US every year who DO believe in the American Dream, and who DO make it a reality for themselves. To say that all those immigrants are without virtue is a rather xenophobic attitude, don't you think? But perhaps the best thing about this country is that the borders are open both ways. You're free to come in, and you're even more free to leave. If America is as backwards as you seem to think it is, why not leave for someplace better?
Don't listen to people it takes an amazing person to here music and experience a feeling of leaving for an unworld where you can be whoever you set your mind to people who hate on The United States will always put there two cents in even when no one asked them lol
@@kevinc3344 If you have a handful of immeasurably rich people, that leads to misrepresentation of the actual income of most. For a couple years now, in Philadelphia, 1 out of 3 children experienced food insecurity. What's more countless working people are being driven from their homes by the gentrifiers. The disease of US liberalism pushes people to their limit, the cancer of US conservatism gives me them only partial solace while exploiting them further, and, finally, people are surprised that fascism is on the rise again. It's hard to leave for some place better when those places that still are better are succumbing to the disease that the US introduced as we speak. It is currently easier to "fulfill" the American dream outside of the Americas. There's more opportunity for those without scruple in numerous other countries than in the US presently. It requires a special kind of stupidity to believe that, because its economic model and style of government was different over 100 years ago, the US somehow remains this magical land where anyone can succeed through hard work whereas the rest of the world, no matter how developed, mystically seems to offer no opportunity in term. You speak of "Americans" just barely avoiding the "we." The so-called national ethos theory becomes very hard to use when referring to 360+ million people in a diverse geographical setting. What you refer to is only a facet of the depravity (both self-inflicted and caused by others or circumstance). I shall indeed leave this country relatively soon in favor of the husk of what was once my homeland, rotting, as it is, thanks to the United States and her agents.
So cool to hear a full length classical style work from Bergersen! It proves how he has absolutely mastered his craft as a composer! The orchestration, the structure and development is top notch as always.

Still always blown away by this masterpiece, even after falling in love with it in December 2018. The perfect soundtrack to my journeys in Asia for 2.5 months.
WOW. Just listenned to the entire thing and it's wonderful. It reminded me a lot to movies I had seen as a child because it has this "everything is possible" "this world is a wonderful place" feeling that really brougth me back to when I was little and I used to got completely absorbed by the movie as if I had known the characters and places and the movie was real. This has the power to bring my inner child to life and it's really beautiful. Thanks

Here before the thousands! Americans. To our core, we are industrial people. We are the explorers. The adventurers. The pioneers. The inventors. The go getters. We only looked forwards, and never back. When hard times come, we unite as one and rise above and then say “Hard times come no more.” If we are threatened, we will bare arms and to defend our nation and “no matter how long it will take us,” “the American people in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory.” And if the dark hands of terror are to be brought down upon us, we will be “bent, but not broken.” We only look at horizon. We only go forwards. And when we arrive at the colossal mountains of terror and uncertainty, we will unite and overcome. In our core, this was the American

Listening this puts a tear drop in the corner of my eye. So beautiful.
Here in the USA we will be Celebrating our Independence Day soon. This album is a must, it truly captures the American Spirit.
I Have no idea why you don't score movies....Dude you are one of the best composer of your generation
Ugh I love America and Thomas Bergerson.
I love Taking the Helm
Yes but it's kinda too short
@@bruhlord7205 this song needs to be ONE LIFE long
Same
I get goosebumps everytime it starts, even when I know it's coming!!
To me it sounds a lot more like Korngold tbh. He's the one Williams borrowed from heavily
I like how every peice flows into the next and it’s just one continuous one
I needed epic music today. Thanks. 🙌
Carmen María Black i need it every day
this American Dream its golden ..masterprice..woowwwwww my mind blowsss
TSFH makes me feel proud to be an American
Nick Phoenix is from London, and Thomas Bergersen is Norwegian. Having left their native lands to try their luck in Los Angeles with Two Steps From Hell, coincides with the "American Dream" of this composition by Thomas Bergersen
RuinerSD
And are your crooked governments and their never-ending war agenda, your overpowerful corporations sacking the planet in total impunity and your banks enslaving the pleb in debt make you proud to be American as well?
Lol cant americans just be proud of themselves at least once?
the vigilant
Of course they can. Unless they do a 0.004 nanosecond research that will give them a tremendous amount of examples of what's wrong in this country.
Random Guy
I believe every country in the world has its issues. Not just America. There has been a lot of wrong done by the US, but such a nihilistic outlook misses out on the amazing things the people of this country have accomplished. So please curb your spite
If only the American Dream was this beautiful in real life.
Non mais j'ai tellement pas de mots pour décrire un truc pareil...Ca relève vraiment du génie... T'es un extraterrestre ? J'en reviens pas un mix aussi parfait ! PARFAIT !!!
Asperger ??? Pondre un truc pareil.... Ca relève vraiment du génie....

Taking The Helm, absolutely my favourite
I'm getting hefty Aaron Copland vibes. This is absolutely fabulous.
thank you *TSFH* for the emotion! :)
Man, what a piece of music. Love to see and hear this performed. Has that same richness of sound and intelligence that Korngold and Hansen had. You'd really need a competent orchestra to make this work. You can tell the orchestra likes this. It's all in 4/4 time. Wow!
Why hasnt tsfh have aleast 1mill yet! There music is amazing and they need more attention!
Cheryl Asante They are waaay too underrated
They do now!
This is more than music. This is a journey
*clicks loop*
NOW IT'S EVEN MORE CONTINUOUS
This is beautiful. How on earth could you leave a thumbs down for this?
Being British, I have never got the American dream. This has just explained it perfectly.
I find that the right sort of music lets you understand a feeling in ways that words alone never could.
Stupendous!!! Really captures the right emotions!! I love it!!
"Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the heart, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and charm and gaiety to life and everything." Plato.
That explains my experience listening to this. Thank you for uploading. Congratulations to the composer, Thomas Bergesen for this incredible volume.
I'm listening to this for around the 20th time and it's still unbelievable good :)
Still always blown away by this masterpiece, even after falling in love with it in December 2018. The perfect soundtrack to my journeys in Asia for 2.5 months.
I was just thinking about when the full version was gonna come out, yesterday. Feels good man.
Thanks
Thomas, I don’t know if you’ll read this, I hope you do. Just wanted to say that your music is epic as well as inspirational so much so that, I have also started composing music, it’s nowhere near as good as you obviously. But thank you so much. Also this album is just well.... music to my ears XD it’s awesome :) thank you so much for your gift to us 😊
Oh non de Dieu, un truc pareil, du jamais vue !!! Je suis vraiment scotché... Hallucinant !
Wauw, just wauw. That finale at 42:25 made me have shivers all over my body.
C'est le meilleur mix que j'ai écouter de ma vie !!! Je crois que je ne retrouverais jamais un truc pareil ! Wouaw ! Chapeaux bas les artistes ! Une merveille !!!
Amazing just amazing btw someone make a movie or book out of this song will be amazing as well
outstanding Music from Thomas, very underrated ! Congratulation for this beautiful Masterpiece
The track "anticipation and excitement" reminds me of a series of films I used to love as a child, "homeward bound" about cats and dogs living awesome adventures on their own. This music makes me feel like the child I was back then and it is wonderful
I forgot how much joy tsfh gives me
This is masterful. Presumably you don't want to score big name movies, otherwise I'm sure you would have done so by now. But dammit you blow away all other composers out there.
Indeed, the only currently living composers I'd call superior are Hisaishi and Williams. Thomas just keeps growing immensely... Can't wait to experience his upcoming masterpieces.
Astonishing. A master of his craft.
Epicness Squad unite
aye captain
Meli Norsk present and awaiting instructions ma'am
All hands are on deck ;)
We can always use more epic people on board, And Thomas Bergersen is our captain!
This is by far the best album from TSFH yet.

An amazing album... I have no words to describe the beauty! :D
7:21 Anticipation and Excitement... ME RN
Thank you Sir for this awesome piece of music.
In America anything is possible!
While everyone rightly marvels on how incredible this is, I hope we can get one from Nick too, it would be such an epic combination then!
Its in you Thomas. You have gift for music. Thank you. You inspire us
*_YOU GOTTA HAVE SOME GOD DAMN FAITH!!!_*
Yasss!!!
Verry beautifull music
Proud 2 B American! Thank you Thomas. MAGA.
Glad to see another fellow patriot here
I dont know how many amazing track that Mr. Thomas can create ...
Here before the thousands!
Americans.
To our core, we are industrial people. We are the explorers. The adventurers. The pioneers. The inventors. The go getters. We only looked forwards, and never back. When hard times come, we unite as one and rise above and then say “Hard times come no more.” If we are threatened, we will bare arms and to defend our nation and “no matter how long it will take us,” “the American people in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory.” And if the dark hands of terror are to be brought down upon us, we will be “bent, but not broken.”
We only look at horizon. We only go forwards.
And when we arrive at the colossal mountains of terror and uncertainty, we will unite and overcome.
In our core, this was the American
Great little comment! "In our core, this was what we were." I try to practice what I preach, I must be the change I want to see in the world.
And when you look at the horizon you go and shit on us Slavs, Turks, Africans, Balts, Arabs, Persians, and American Indians.
44 minutes, what a nice way to start my day, thank you so much for your work.
