(1986) Sheet music for the River's Edge Theme composed by Jürgen Knieper. Arranged by me.

Rewatched the 1986 movie River’s Edge again and it’s aged well. The hardcore soundtrack is amazing with Slayer, Fates Warning and Agent Orange but the original score by Jürgen Knieper is haunting. Especially the Main Theme that’s like a classic folk metal instrumental. Jazzy and discordant with lush strings. And then there’s a noir trumpet! I couldn't find the sheet music or how to play it anywhere so I thought I'd take a crack at it. I think I’m close to figuring it out and transcribed it in Musescore but the fingerpicking is too fast for me to play. Maybe a more proficient musician than I can use it.

Nice arrangement dude! The noir trumpet and the strings sound great, did a good job! Better than i could probably do especially the fingerpicking, I play guitar and yet i still struggle at being fast 😳

Thanks! Still learning Musescore and I couldn't figure out subtle dynamics for the trumpet. I'm practicing but cant play the guitar part above 90BPM. It's also a nice little trumpet part that I'll probably be able to play in 5 years:) I love this theme so much.

Thanks! It's too fast for me to play at speed right now but I love using it for fingerpicking practice.
