If we remake tracks..help with finding and developing our musical style? I just started in Music Production and I've learnt how to use Ableton. It would be great to produce the music I like..but I want to know if this will develop my own style..not just to copy the artist I like. Anyway, good tutorials thanks a lot! help me a lot in my musical journey
First of all you need to know the basics of music production and remaking helps a lot with learning them. Analsing other people's tracks helps you understand the structure of songs, transitions, what sounds work together etc. And while you know that you can start experimenting and then you will come up with something yours. Of course developing your own style will take some time. But basically make things that you enjoy. And what's also important, if there is something you made that you think is cool, just release it. Always release stuff that is good for you not for an audience. Good luck! :)
What about if I’m just starting out, only learned Ableton basics and made some sounds together... How would I learn before going to this step, it’s kinda more advanced than my level
Jack Lo why don't you watch a track from scratch tutorial (cymatics maybe?)and copy it, part by part and then add your own stuff to it. Just doing that will help you in a lot of ways
Didn’t understand on first listen....glad I went back to listen again....excellent advice regarding the templates
Thank you for making this video. This is really really helpful to know!
Thanks! I will use this tip!
