    A bold theory….time will tell

A great theory! In my opinion, nothing will happen until KK is fired and the sequels go the way of the Legends books and become officially decannonized. My problem is that Ahsoka and Mando Season 3 all point to the Sequel Trilogy and I dont think anyone is going to stop it. To me Star Wars died when they made the man who saved Darth Vader attempt to murder his teenaged nephew for having a bad dream.

The good news is KK is no longer allowed to set foot on Lucasfilm property and she’s put up her Malibu home for sale. The catch is that she can’t be fired, which is why we’ve had to endure all this. George gave her armor as part of the conditions when Disney brought Lucasfilm. She had promised to carry on his story, and he was making sure she was protected while she did it. He did not anticipate her outright betrayal. So now that Filoni and Faverau theoretically are free of her influence (which won’t be made official until the end of her contract this August, I believe) it will be interesting to see what happens. The problem now is that Disney is in such dire straits, getting anything green lit could be problematic.

Personally the team thats created the Mandalorian needs to make it and Kathleen needs to be nowhere near it. The original plots are usable, but the first needs to be rewritten to be less boring and more time dedicated to the post clone wars fall, before the final chapter. The Phantom menace and clone wars battles could be combined, an entirely new fall from grace 2nd film and the 3rd the betrayal. And it should be darker.

So the copium continues and star wars filoni delusionals hold on to the retcon dream.... its not going to happen. Filoni and lucasfilm have confirmed several times all roads lead to sequel trilogy, the "sabine" show had alot of clues to Snoke and Palpatine. They have confirmed mandoverse will connect with sequels in and out universe.

It’s a religion at this point, to argue canonicity,
If the Protestants don’t consider something cannon it is apocryphal, if a Star Wars fan doesn’t consider something cannon it is legends

There was really only 1 semi positive in "Sabine." The Anakin scene was good. But it's the luke scene before season 3. Filoni isn't a good writer or director. I loved rebels, but this show just took a dump on everything good from that show.
