Theres nothing repairable inside that module, therefore the owners should coat it with a circuit board coating (cant recall name of product to make it waterproof. But it should be done ahead of time.... how do i know.... i did it after paying for one headlight..several years ago...i put it on the top of the module housing, not on the circuit board... perfect since...
OMG……the ridiculousness of these special “features”! This is one of those “if you can’t afford a new one you can’t afford a used one” type of vehicles.
It makes me laugh personally. People ask me why I drive a mid 2000's car. When I have the knowledge I have. It cost me $750 to buy the entire vehicle with only 114k km's. Then proceed to tell me how good their new car is. I'm asked all the time about buying Euro's. I always ask the same questions. 1, can you afford to buy it outright? Or at least the repayments be zero stress financially? No= don't buy it Yes = 2, can you afford $1500-3000 every single time you take it in for services? No = Don't buy it. Yes = still don't buy it but if you must. Enjoy it because you will certainly be paying for it. They all go ahead and ignore my advice. Then like clock work. Roll back to me exclaiming how much the car is costing, lol. Only 25k km and I need tyres and rear brakes!!! They want $2500 plus the service cost. Bwaahahahaha!
