There is so much to discuss...
We just hired an Elite Coach who immediately hit the transfer portal and stocked the team with some talented players most from Mid-Major programs...
This is an exciting and important time for Trojan basketball but if a person watched the "Lock on USC" daily show they might think we don't even play basketball...
In order for USC basketball to gain fans we need intelligent and long time USC fans like your self to start covering the team...

I'll throw my hat in the ring and say diehard tigers fan here, and im just interested in the showdown because of the historical last matchup, not to mention the similarities of both programs that have been mentioned ad nauseam!

It’s just for the “drama” of it. Social media has created nothing but drama to attract clicks and readers. Don’t fall for it. Maybe it will rile up the players to play with a chip and prove what they can do.
Marc I think that the win against LSU will bring great energy to the team and the Trojan faithful. However if LSU scores more than 27 points there will continue to be concerns regarding USCs ability to play defense. A 41 to 38 win of course is better than any loss and the hell with the national press and the USC HATERS. I have the Trojans winning 31 to 27. The defense will have its struggles in the first half but will ball out after the Defensive staff tunes them up for the second half. FIGHT ON ✌✌✌✌✌
If USC's defense holds LSU to 27 points I think it's a great sign!
My take for either team is if it's close it doesn't matter if we loose. Winning is just 1-0.

Nobody is recognizing players like Braylen Shelby, or Cam Fountain, etc...let alone the transfers from Oregon St etc, and the coaches added on D. Fine people, give no props. Surprise you all shall be...and one last thing...many of these teams in the Big score in the teens..these teams are in for something called a blowout. Yes that's right, SC will win at least 4 games by 28-30 points. Heard it here first

We have to admit it , 2024 season is a true crap shoot . We have no idea how the team is going to do . So many unknowns. We have no barometers as we have so many new starters , new coaches and not much depth on the lines . So I guess fans have to hold their breath and see what happens . Just hope the mistake of not getting rid of Grinch doesn’t hurt us to long . As it has hurt us in the transfer portal and recruiting. We really need Riley to succeed to get the team to national prominence and shut up Finebaum! Screw that idiot !

If we want to gain back some of that respect we are whinging about, me thinks we need a TOP30 D not 50, as we head into the B1G. You know 3 yds and a cloud of dust and all that.
Let's see if we can first beat the mediocre school in Eugene in recruiting....The narrative is and should be the off-season hires Riley made on the defensive side of the ball. Defensive recruiting has been disappointing, and in some cases horrible. So the focus NOW is on players development.

Marc- if Kobe Pepe was a good player, we would have known it by now. On a team that had a weak DLine, Pepe couldn't make an impact. He was also a Helton recruit, and Gomer was a terrible talent evaluator. If he starts, we are in trouble. I know nothing about Lightfoot, but I have to believe he could at least make our 2 deep.
Pepe was not recruited for Grinch’s system. I have explained this in the past.
