Its pathetic that Marc has to put out troll content and misinformation about other schools being afraid of us and the media hating on us. Fact is we have the 25th ranked recruiting class and its not gonna get much better. And when u go to the 24/7 site or the On3 site there is hardly any content on recruiting because NOBODY wants to come here. And yet instead of telling the truth, Marc is the CNN of USC coverage, just spreading lies because they dont want to accept the truth and creating false narratives to make yourself feel better.

With 2,000 yds, which I don't believe, we would only need a top 40 D and prolly go 10-2, but prolly get edged out of the CFP only because too many other B1G teams would be taken. It's gonna take a few more years heavy lifting to be competitive to win the B1G and they will diss the shit out of us in the mean time - so it's gonna be a grind and not a really fun one till we get there. But we are approaching a precipice where CLR is going to sink or swim in another year or two, and our B1G opponents would love to be the agent of his failure. Branch is the closest I have seen to DeAnthony Thomas. If they are smart and use him the same way, then the USC offense might start being attractive to kids in California. There is no excuse for USC to not have two receivers with 1,000 yards. If Tez Johnson can do it at Oregon, Branch should be doing that at USC. Branch is twice the player Tez is. USC should have Branch and Lane or Hutson with 1,000 yards this year. If your offense is all that, how is that not possible?

CLR is an "O" savant???? He abolished the fullback, doesn't like using TE's, and pays mere lip service to the run game and has no sense of controlling the game clock. I'm not even sure I'm comfortable with him being an OC. So, what's the story that makes it a thing for you to say Marc? Rah rah rah? Heisman QBs? I think "O" savants understand balance, which cannot be achieved by paying mere lip service to the run game. Does he get the nod because they lied to us about how good our O line was? I do remember hearing Finebaum saying that CLR rode the coattails of talented QBs and wasn't much of a coach beyond that. Obviously that's BS, but what do you make of a committee including the likes of KK? If CLR was that savant, why would he want / need KK around? But if I had to make a living analyzing forecasting or reporting on recruiting, I'd starve to death. Just show me what we've got when fall camp starts. Never understood giving Zachariah the ball put the backfield unless it was a jet sweep. SC had a stable of runningbacks! Definitely get him the ball in space. In this new ers of offense, it would be really hard for him to win Heisman because he's not the featured WR, they spread the ball too much. I do think he'll have 4 tds on special teams

Whether my team does well or struggles a bit, the new opponents and venues after decades of sameness is going to make this a great season. I was so sick of the Big 12 as were most Sooner fans. Damn, Fox had us leading off the day at 11 for years. OU asked the Big 12 for assistance in spreading it around and were basically told to shut up and dribble after carrying the leagues water for years. Good riddance to them. I'm curious as to how SC fans feel about changing leagues. So can I get a couple of replies here?

Marc I luv ya but you're making too much of it, if Gabriel enters the portal and comes to SC he's just doing what's best for him. What's dirty about it? The coach he committed too is gone, now he has to do what's best for him. I'm sorry to say but Fresno isn't winning anything this year, unlike SC who actually has a good shot to make the CFP. Gabriel will definitely improve SC's defense.

I love the optimism here. Let’s be realistic though. OL was not upgraded and depth was not added. And two somewhat undersized players were brought in for DL. Both lines have huge question marks and they are one key injury away from possible disaster. Overall I do think the team will play better but don’t surprised if they still come away with a 7-5 record.
