So accurate! I once dated a guy who got mad because I got along with his friends and made them laugh… after we broke up most of his friends stayed friends with me. They’d ask for dating advice and stuff like that. No hidden intentions, just legit friends. Later on they stopped hanging with my ex cause he started causing drama in the group and apparently hit on one of their girlfriends to “show how it felt that they still talked to me”
They want a doll.
Or they want a girl who plays video games, but who doesn't beat them at video games.
Men who want a quiet girlfriend don’t actually want a girlfriend. Relationships are about mutual respect, care and interest. If your “girlfriend” is talking too much for you, maybe you are in the wrong relationship because you don’t seem to value her perspective. All relationships need to have boundaries, and guys can ask to have time to play their games and watch their sports. There must also be some compromise. So, for example, if you are living together, all your free time can’t just be sports and games, but also helping her so she can have some relaxation time too. There also needs to be bonding time outside the bedroom where you share mutual interests. If you are at a party, you shouldn’t be the only one having fun. It’s not hard. Just act like you actually like the person you are dating.

THIS! I used to wonder why the funniest guys in school would end up dating really quiet or just not-funny girls. Then I realized oooh, it's that the guys want to be the only funny one in the relationship. They didn't want a woman to make THEM laugh, they just wanted her to say, "You're so funny!"
I call it the plus one fantasy. He's the type who wants you to cook your heart out, only to serve him, and to watch him eat.
Young guy was saying something really more serious and sinister. Older dude was playing it off like he was saying a joke. Young guy was not joking, he was speaking a deep truth that men don’t like to sit with.
Bro even when they get a quiet girl it's a problem. I like doing my own stuff alone. My ex would be playing his video games and I'm in my corner reading and suddenly he'd say "I don't feel like you care about us". I didn't care if we went out on dates or if he wanted to stay out late with his friends because I had exams and assignments to do and he'd complain that I didn't act like someone in a relationship. He got so mad that I wasn't on his case and didn't hang on to him for every little thing but I was 22 and he was my first boyfriend and by then I was happy doing things alone plus I have other priorities to take care of. Like I love your company but I need you to have things outside of being in a relationship

Im quiet and then my fiance asks me to talk, cause he doesn't know to talk, he is like please talk and say something 😂 so i start a conversation and thats how he felt in love because he is super introverted and im ambivert im the only person that can get him speaking his mind so girls please there is the right guy for you there, some like quiet some doesn't just find your best part to complement you
