In the past I was a big fan of Maserati's and I bought my self a fantastic Quattroporte Sport GT Automatica (2007) and a Grancabrio MC (2015). But with the launch of the Ghibli, the new Quattroporte, the Levante, turbo petrol and diesel engines, the love for Maserati has slowly died. Let's see what the future will bring, if they really launch the Alfieri and MMXX. But electric in order to compete with Tesla and Porsche ? No, thank you ! Therefore I bought my self in 2019 an Abarth 595C Competizione with Performance Package (with mechanical diff) which has been subject to some modifications : all the horrible plastics inside and outside have been covered by / replaced with carbon fibre, leather and alcantara, the Record Monza has been replaced by an Akrapovic (valve removed) and the ECU has been remapped. The result is incredible ! I must admit that I prefer this Abarth to any car I've driven before in my life (with exception perhaps of my Ferrari F355 Spider) and I'm 56 years 'young' ! If you're only 1,80 m and weigh about 70 kilos, the Sabelt seats are really fantastic, also for longer journeys. For more information on my Abarth, please watch my video ruclips.net/video/w4Uu9Q_Zqi8/видео.html

As always Thomas’s review is amazing. It seems this is a Fiat 500 with a Maserati price tag. I am not sure why anyone would buy this SUV when the German auto makers much products that are SO much better.

Unless this engine is in either a saloon or coupe, it is totally pointless. Any suv or car with a hefty curb weight from now on should only be considered for an electric only drive train!

It's not going very well for Maserati. They need to do something new. This looks old

How? It looks so much better than anything out of Germany.

I dont loke the look of the new Maserati and I think it will not go good for the company in the future, but I hope they stay Alive

@@danielfl.9347 Volkswagen definitely makes the most practical and ergonomical cars and they are cheap to fix in Europe.
But nowadays a lot of people buy Kia/Hyundai and since then Germans have started to cut costs to get the price lower to the Koreans.

This is technology from the 90s! V8? Should not be legal for the environment. Looks good though. Thank you Thomas for another great review 👍
