Roy Clark had good chemistry with everyone he played with. An extremely talented musician, singer, and comedian. Growing up in the 60's and 70's, Dad watched Hee-Haw with Roy Clark and Buck Owens (not Buck Trent). Buck Trent was a regular on the show.
Dad was born in 1929, and lived in the hills of southern Arkansas during the Great Depression, and Bluegrass music was part of his growing up. True hillbillies, back in the day.
Foggy Mountain Breakdown by Flatt & Scruggs would be a good Bluegrass song to check out. 😊
Roy Clark was known as a master of darn near any instrument with strings.
The first half up until Roy picked his chin up is not part of the song, but 2 amazing pickers entertaining a crowd.
Have you heard of Home Free? American acapella group of five Brilliant singers and beatboxer, maybe try with Man Of Constant Sorrow to start off with. They are known as country singers but they sing all kinds of music, well worth watching, they have 200ish videos to choose from. 🏴
