I know my new trail Boss is horrible about throwing mud and rocks added some weather guard mud and rhino Slimline steps . Like you said before the paint is so soft on these
Hopefully the 2024 Tacomas have much improved power than the previous generation. I was dead set on buying a 2020 TRD Pro… until I drove one. It was a slug. Ended up buying a TRD Tundra (because V8). The Turbo 4cyl of the new Colorados and Rangers had leaps and bounds more power than the Tacoma (pre-2024 anyway).
Your Colorado is sweet bro! I had a 2017 TRD Pro taco and I did enjoy that truck, but it had no power :(. But I must say, I like my 2024 CO-ZR2 a lot, things a beast! No regrets💯💪🏼
Does any one know anything about the Eibach prototype coilovers for the 24 taco? Eibach doesn't have them on there site yet, I can't find any info online! What's the rear consist of since they changed the whole rear setup?
@@Downtimelost Thanks man, I figured as much as there is nothing online anywhere about them except here "exclusive content" You should put that in your title "First look" at the Eibach prototype 4th gen coilovers. Guess they will make an announcement at some point. On another note have to say your Colorado build is fire FYI, seriously a nice looking truck. Makes me seriously consider a ZR2!
I’m with ya. I want to see a real world video with a Colorado vs a Tacoma. 3rd gen owner. But kinda waiting to see what I want next. Colorado is definitely growing on me. Just shitty for lack of parts/lifts.
You might've mentioned this in a prior video, so I might've missed it... but when is DV8 planning to release products for the Gen3 Canyon/Colorado (particularly the '24 Colorado ZR2)?
4-6 weeks for none zr2 trucks ! Addictive Desert Designs is working on some fire looking bumpers for the zr2 trucks ! I’ll be makeing videos for yall when that comes down the pipeline!
That Taco is one nice look’in and equipped pick-up. First pick-up I ever bought was a Toyota long ago. That was then, this is now,,, and I love my ‘23 CO-ZR2😍 Your drag race scenes remind me of Rich Christensen on the show “Pinks” when he would set the drivers and then drop his arms like you guys did - 👍😎
These Tacomas have been riddled with problems in real world testing. I know you’re being diplomatic & fully respect that. All I’m saying is that the torch has been passed & Ford + Chevy now own the midsize segment. I do anticipate that the Tacoma will continue to lead sales volume, as it will take a few more years for holdouts & fanboys to figure out that Toyota is a shell of its former self.
People often forget that Toyota's rollouts of new models never go well. In a few years the 4th gen Taco will be bulletproof if the last gen Tundra and Tacoma are any indication.

New ones ain’t much better 😂😂
@@Downtimelost good to know! lmao.
Having a motor that will last 300K miles ain’t worth nothing when it takes a whole week to get to 60mph 😂😂😂
