Hello!!! Can you please tell me about your surgery and post surgery workout?? Also... How long it's been since your surgery.... Does it still hurt... Sorry for asking so much questions... But I have inguinal hernia for like past 3-4 years... I have a very active lifestyle and i don't want to lose that... The hernia pain comes around once or twice in a month otherwise it remains ok.. But I'm afraid that after surgery I'll not be able to do anything(gym, outdoor games etc.)
@@why2918 I had the surgery in 2016 . I could barely walk for the first two weeks. For the first two months I had to take stairs real slowly. I couldn't lift much weight, and exercise was limited to simple mobility movements and stretches, seated dumbbells, and lots of walking. I still get some twinges of sharp pain every once in a while, but I'm not in pain anymore and have regained nearly all my core strength. I work in commercial/industrial construction and have no longer have trouble lifting, pulling wires or working hard. My hernia was huge and I was in a lot of pain to the point that I couldn't even drive, so I had to get the surgery. The doctors will say it's a two week recovery, but it took me about 6 months to fully recover, and another 6 months or so to be able to lift dumbbells and do more vigorous workouts.
@@TheJediChef thank you very much... This is really helpful.. Just few more questions if you don't mind😅.. You said about experiencing pain after surgery.. How often is that and how painful is that.. Also is there a permanent scar.. And also does it feels like there is something wrong with body, i mean they placed an foreign mesh inside your body.... What about that
@@why2918 Saurabh The random pains I get are really just very short 1 or 2 second twinges of pain right in the area where the mesh is. I used to be completely numb for the first year or so, so the twinges are really a good sign that the nerves are regrowing. It is rare to feel the pain now anyway. There is a permanent scar with numbness right at the incision site, but it is in my pants and nobody can see it unless I show them. And about the mesh, I've had no complication, no reaction to it, and don't notice it unless I poke around my lower abs. The only issue I have since the surgery is that I started to get some lower belly fat where I had none before, but I think that may be due to lower blood flow to my lower abs because of the injury. I'm still working on get my abs back after 3 years

Outstanding 👍 I don't smoke or drink, no drugs. But I have doing workouts like this for years and I'm guessing this is why some of my high school class mates look at me. 1980 was a long time ago now. 😯
From Toronto. At 64 years of age now and having to evolve my workouts has been an interesting journey of learning and applying the knowledge. Balancing exercises like these become very important for our stability as we age. Myself I'm 6ft 6 inches and still 250 and muscular. Keeping the muscles period is the first goal and this helps the balance of course. I will add these to my discipline.
Just what I needed!!! I love you for this video. I will be doing this now before dinner and before breaking my fast. You are great! 😍 How long do I need to do this a day and how long to see results?

Great, what we are really focusing on is just improving basic human movement. That kind of training should directly help with running (especially with joints)
