Tengo varios bolsos de la marca y me encantan. Las utilizo para portar mi EDC. Gran calidad de construcción y diseño retro muy acertado. Me traen recuerdos de los macutos militares que yo utilizaba en los años 70 y 80.
@@bigheadtaco The Lightning Rider or the Easy Rider - much like you, I like leather bags! On the website, the bags look fabulous but there are very few reviews online and so am glad you did this one.
@@Expat0 I've seen other bags out and about in Asia, and everyone I talk to love the bags. I've already shot my review of the Pilot 7L and will shoot my review of the Lightning Rider soon. 99% pros, very few cons, if any.
Nice little unboxing, I like the 10L one, nothing can compete with leather, even a little bit of it! Enjoy the background, much better than a white closet door!😊🍻
I'm a big fan of their products. I specifically own the Ryker M and the pilot travel camera backpack. I love the look of the Ryker and the pilot backpack is super useful on a trip where you need all your gear. They have great customer service as well! Only thing to be aware of is it can be costly for shipping if you need to return from North America. I highly recommend their bags, I also own a few Billingham bags as well and I feel like the quality amongst these are similar
This video came up at the perfect time as well. Someone I know is looking for a great camera/travel bag for his gear...great for lifestyle stuff as well...very diverse bags. Thanks BHT for posting. OCHO
Just ordered a lightning rider in the grey/black combo after much deliberating.. I may be in minority, but the metal details/accents are something I definitely wanted, instead of the plastic being used on the newer models.. wanted to buy a bag done in their "old" way before more of them potentially change.
I love your review style and the Pilot 7L bag! BTW, is the Pilot 7L compatible with your 13inch macbook? I waited but could not see you put the laptop inside. I also wonder if I can put an ipad pro 12.9inch in it (28.1cm x 21.5cm). Please help advise! Many thanks!
Nice! Really liking the Pilot 7L. I almost bought one last year, but was on the fence between that and a Billingham Hadley Pro. The indecision slowed me down enough to realize that my 10 year old Domke F3X was still working fine. I just don’t like the way the black Domke bags fade to a weird purplish gray (especially the straps).
I love my Domke's too, but I stopped buying the black or coloured versions for that very reason. I had a nice black and navy, both colours faded over time. I had to throw them out eventually. The waxed Codura does not fade nor does it need any wax since it's not actually waxed. It just looks waxed, but it is durable and waterproofed.
I was wondering about the add-on pouches on the Pilot. Are they stable or do they wobble from side to side? The Molle strips running down the middle of the pouch always made me wonder if they’d rock from side to side.
the add-on bags are very stable because of the clip-on system. However, if you put too much weight in the pouches, they may sway. For me they are stable, but I feel they'll work better on the larger 10L Pilot.
Bags look fantastic, Take. Looking forward to your thoughts after a while of using them. Will they exceed. The Domke/Fujifilm in your estimations. I bought the Domke after your recommendations, and it is an amazing bag for my Fujifilm kit on a just normal day out with family basis, plenty of space for a few lenses and the usual other stuff needed for a 5 year-old! Hope you’re doing well. Andrew
It did fit but barely. It sort of stretches the bag wide and makes the primary cavity smaller. I don't recommend it. the 10L Pilot will probably hold it much better.
Yes, that's why I've had the bags for months and I'm using them every day so I can bring you a decent review. This is an unboxing and first look video.

Thanks for this. Have been eyeing the Wotancraft bags for a while and have been on the fence.
Which one have you been looking at?

@@bigheadtaco Really looking forward to a more in-depth review!! :)
great review as usual!! I love the Pilot. its a super nice design and the color as well!!!
Thanks Linda, ya the Pilot is my EDC bag, with or without a camera.... ok, I always have a camera, but sometimes just a small point and shoot.

ha ha, thanks. I know people like the wider view of my office, but that means I have to clean up my desk :-)
Take! Loving the uploads lately!
I still have more to upload, thanks for watching!!

I'll do my best!!
If you like one pick it up. They often don’t make models for long. The one I love from several years ago is the Ryker in XS.
I remember the Ryker, it was cool. It was probably when I was first introduced to Wotancraft a few years ago.

I just ordered the 10l Pilot, cant wait for it!
Great review, thanks.
Does the MacBook Air fit into the 7l Pilot? Still not clear which one to buy - 7l or 10l.
Any view on that?
Hey there,
These bags look perfect for the day photo trippin kinda person. Love your lightweight review of them as well. Take care,

Thanks. This was just a first look, but I'll have full reviews soon. So far my testing has been positive!

Can the pilot 10l fit a Sony FF body + 70-200mm GM attached vertically or a Canon R5 + RF 100-500mm attached vertically?
These are AMAZINGLY cool

Can you fit some laptop Olin the 7L pilot ? Maybe a 13”?
Great vdo by the way
I can squeeze my M1 MBA 13" but it's super tight. Not recommended. It fits my 11" iPad Pro M1 perfectly though.
did the 7 ltr pilot fit the macbook air?

Like the Pilot
the Pilot is great. Now I'm wondering what the 10L is like.....
im a sucker for the domke F-803, but those are really nice!
I'm still gonna use my Domke, but currently enjoying the Pilot 7L :-)
i wish it can be bought locally here in van. hate waiting for shipping lol
i can't find where to buy?
I watched the whole video and missed the part when you said you’d try the 13” laptop in the 7L - did it fit?
It did fit but barely. It sort of stretches the bag wide and makes the primary cavity smaller. I don't recommend it. the 10L Pilot will probably hold it much better.
@@bigheadtaco thanks for the reply.
Would the 7L hold a 12.9” IPad Pro?
Adidas stash 🔥👍👞👟
Your on song Taco great review
I wore out two 803s, my EDC for 20 years. Eventually the straps wear out, but 10 years of hard use......
A nice new cordura pair of Adidas moscrop dropping in brown on Thursday that you would probably love
The cranforth look nice too
Would go nice with the bag
This is a sales pitch not a review.

Dude what’s with the wearing of two wrist watches??
