NO ONE likes this new Genshin Character...

- Genshin Impact recently just revealed their new Dendro Character on Twitter the other day and now the whole internet has lost its mind since everyone is saying how their final design is terrible compared to their concept art designs. In this video I'm just gonna discuss my thoughts about Genshin Impacts questionable character design choices.

I would've preferred the purple concept design as the final outcome, the least they could've done is change the outfit, it does not make her look as if she'd fit into fontaine whatsoever, instead she looks like a late edition that they forgot to release when sumeru was still new xd
I think Emilie is a pretty cool looking character tho :(

Sameee,though I do understand the hate,a lot of people got hyped cause of leaks(or concept art I can’t remember) and we had our expectations too high 😭

The main reason her visual design is so unappealing to people (including me) is because of the colour contrast between her clothes and hair. She has blond-ish hair, and a white and green dress. None of these colours go well together.
Her illustration isn’t in her favor, though. She looks better in game, trust me.
The only thing I like about her desing are the glasses because we have so little characters wearing them it feels nice to get one as I wear glasses myself
Heizou shenanigans all over again, I thought we all agreed to not get hopes up for concept art again (also aren't they all fan made? no wonder hoyoverse didn't "choose" any of those designs)
I honestly find it funny how people look at leaks so much and get mad when it's changed. Leaks are meant to be taken as a grain of salt.
It's NOT good when almost everyone says that she looked like Dendro Lisa and doesn't fit the Fontainian style.
I was put off her design at first (thought it was an oc) but the longer I sit with it, the more I get witchy potion shop cottage vibes. Her colour scheme is also nice. While the concepts look better, I actually think the concepts being good looking is more generic. I also feel like some people are just hating because she has glasses. I can't think of another design that got this reaction aside from maybe Skirk(for being too honkai), and that should tell you this is a unique character (even if she is giving sumeru lisa) We have too many good-looking people, one acquired taste character is surely fine 😭
I swear to god, whenever we get a character who looks a bit different, people throw a tantrum. You cant even like an "ugly" or unpopular character anymore, since people cant deal with opinions that aren't similar to their-
I love her because she is quite special when you take a closer look- Her eyes whit blue highlights, the dress that dose not look like it belongs in Fontaine which adds a tad bit of mystery, her hair being so short in the back that you can see the strand keeping her hat together-
Its so nice and really interesting for a genshin character. Finally something new and not the same old cookie cutter "hot" girl design. People can like concept art more that the current design, they don't even have to like it. But man, just because you dont like something dosent mean its bad or terrible.

Im not sure about the design but i love the colours they used! That green is the prettiest shade of green i've seen! I also like her skirt!

She is really cute tho... people shouldn't be that mad over a character that not their type... player are not entitled for a character designs... i play a lot of game where i hate 90% of the ingame character designs because i am picky but that mean i have more time to save for a character that i 100% like

I 100% prefer the purple/lavender design. She was so pretty. The official design to me id very... bland. Don't get me wrong I do think she is cute, but she is a huge skip for me. I wouldn't waste my pulls on her. Respect to those that do want her though.

Yeah, I really hate the design. I'm happy for those who enjoy it, I'm just not one of them. I was thinking about pulling for her since she has my name but now it's gonna be a hard skip

i think the developers could have done a better job with emilie , the colour palette and outfit don't really scream fontaine if you look at it from first glance ...
i did see a post on twitter saying that emilie was based off the flowers in fontaine , so maybe i think that once we get her backstory and etc we can understand more about why she was designed that way !
