OAAW~ Don’t you just love green?! That was one beautiful walk. Thank you for getting wet for those of us on this side of the camera. I loved the moments when your umbrella dipped into frame: it even more felt from my own point-of-view. Also, my quality setting is set by RUclips to 750. I’ve taken to putting it on the highest setting - since I’m watching on WiFi and not concerned about my cellular data usage. What a difference! Your videos were beautiful, but this one at something like 2160p was fantastic! Thank you for sharing! Stay dry…. 😉☔️
Good Evening, Cheryl. Thank you, for your comment. I am glad you enjoyed the walk :). Wow! That was a big jump up to 2160p from 720p, you have been missing out on all those lovely extra pixels :). Also, the audio is usually recorded (except for this video) via binaural microphones, have a listen through headphones for an even more immersive experience (if you haven't already done so). You will have to start watching the videos all over again in the new higher quality setting...just kidding, Cheryl :). All the very best to you. OAAW
@@OutandaboutWalking~ I will be watching my Ps more carefully in the future - the difference was crazy! I stupidly thought RUclips optimized videos. Why I don’t know, but now I know better. And I’ll try listening with headphones. I loved the rain on your umbrella in this one! I think of your walks as walking meditations… but I don’t have to worry about tripping. 😉 Take care. Until next time.
The umbrella deserves a supporting actor credit. The sound of the rain hitting it, or branches and foliage scraping across the fabric. Its occasional appearance at the top of the frame, or off to the side when you had to tilt it down: it heightened the viewer's sense of being the person holding the umbrella, of being there. Here's to rain, umbrellas, and being there!
I am going to take a screenshot ,and paint , as you suggested . Trust me l love walking in the rain ☔️ , and even the vlogs with rain drops 💦, are adored by me . THANKYOU
Very nice walk in the countryside: in the forest to start and then in the meadows which rise steeply. Then return to the forest by a sometimes almost invisible path that runs along the edge of the forest. Return to descend in meadows as far as the eye can see. With rain and wind. Thank you OAAW for this walk in this beautiful greenery 😀😀😀😀😀
You are very welcome Liz. I thoroughly enjoyed the walk, but must confess, it was nice to get home, showered & fresh clothes on. Glad you enjoyed the walk :)
Another superb walk with you. These walks mean so much to me at my advanced age and lead to a kind of meditation, freeing me from temporary anxiety and panic attacks. I have bookmarked quite a few and make return walks and may not always hit the “Like” button or post a comment, but your efforts are so good for me. I like the clean lap dissolves you’ve been using as it avoid the clanging of every gate we encounter or the need to pause as you clamber over a stile or two. I now live in a sprawling land of blue skies and endless horizons and love my adopted country, but the country of my youth is always a sentimental session. Bless you, for all your efforts. John, Ontario, Canada
Thank you, John. I am glad you enjoyed this rather windy & rainy walk. Going through the gates was an absolute shambles, with a camera in one hand and an umbrella in the other, so rather than put you all through those awkward and messy moments, I thought it was best just to remove them altogether and have it flow better. Enjoy your day. All the best to you.
Good Afternoon, Sarah. I very much appreciate your feedback. There will also be another countryside walk coming later in the week to the channel, which I hope you may well enjoy too :). All the best to you and thanks for your support.
@@OutandaboutWalking If I may ask, where is this? My husband and myself will be staying in the Cotswold area this October. Much because you have tickle our curiosity.
You must have been so spaling wet after this walk, despite the umbrella, with all the leafs🎉 and Branchen from the side. But for me, it was soo nice and cozy to watch from my living room chair. 😅
Thanks Netti. Yes, I was wet through by the end of the walk :) Glad you enjoyed it. Ps. That is the beauty of these virtual walks, you can watch then from anywhere:)
Your videos are amazing, so simple yet so peaceful and beautiful. I've never had such a desire to visit England as I do now, and not even the touristy parts; But the silent and beautiful and historied corners that contain the peace, tranquility, and beauty that your videos portray so perfectly
