I worked on the crew during this symposium, specifically during the concert. John said he was singing this song for the first time at that symposium ('95), and he had written it during a stay with friends at a meditation center in Arizona.The song is dedicated to Jerry Jampolsky, who wrote the book "Love Is Letting Go Of Fear." I don't know anything about the '92 date.
I love every song he wrote and sang. This song however, I believe is his Best work. If only the world could rid itself of fear, perhaps one day we could all be loving and live in peace. It starts with each of us. He definitely was gone too soon...and so very missed.

Another JD song that I'm unfamiliar with. That's pretty rare, since I've listened to his music for the past 30 years or so and know almost all the words to almost all the songs...even the obscure ones! This is another gem. How I miss him and his wonderful music.
I grew up singing his songs, in young adulthood, his music changed my life on very core levels. Through John, i learned that there is no such thing as one person winning while another loses, we all win, or we all lose, and we do it together whether we know it or not. So many of my favorite songs of his are almost impossible to find- "What One Man Can Do", "It's About Time", "Heart to Heart"- John lived what he believed, totally congruent in his truth, in the truth that most people avoid. We are "All in this together", this huge experiment of life, of earth, of love and eachother. I miss him so much, and I wish I knew of a way to gather all his rare songs together I want to sing, and to share. So many beautiful songs I don't get to hear, or can't find a good recording of. Try Ebay or UK Amazon, I tried to get as many of his DVD'S and CD'S. I do not have much money, but I was able to get a lot of quality items from Ebay and UK Amazon. I had every one of his albums until my son became angry that I moved. He destroyed all of them before I could move them. Now I'm on a mission to getting them back. I do not know why most of his albums are not on CD's. I do wish I had a record player, so I could get the albums. Too expensive. I'm a Air Force Brat, I heard him in the early 70's, when after coming back to the USA. I know how he felt like growing up and not staying in one spot.
