I feel like a wandering soul myself.. someone who feels like no matter where I am I'm still not home.. and always an unsettled energy inside of me that won't quite. That feeling lead me to that term that in turn lead me to this song. And honestly it touches my heart... I feel like it's my sad truth.
I have the DVD that this was taken from, and I watch it whenever I can find time. Like everyone, I wish this song had made it into CD, but some things aren't meant to be. Peace, love, and hugs to all...
Unfortunately, John's non-profit organization, Windstar, has been dissolved. But his estate, which controls all of his music (the John Denver estate consists of his children, Zachary, Anna Kate and Jesse Belle), could release this song commercially if they wanted to.
I agree that this is a very beautiful song and I also wish it was available on a CD. I come here to view this performance often because it is so moving.
