I have pretty much every mod you have and then some. What I did since I had no plans to finance it at all and pay cash, I used my credit card instead. I then paid it off the next month and used all the points I earned to pay for the mods. So basically more free mods. Even if you can't pay it off in one month if the credit card has lower rate than you can finance it for, then you still get to earn points and get free mods if you can commit to the payments.

All of the points that you earned simply on that purchase alone? Or did you already have a bunch saved up?

@@stixx3969 My credit union was doing a special 5% cash back for the month so I earned over $200 plus I already had miles saved up. Any free stuff is good.

If the spark arrestor is removed here in Oregon the bike no longer can legally ride on undeveloped BLM, Logging, or Forest service roads.

BRT Racing makes a 276cc big bore kit for this bike!!!🤯 Would be insane for your channel if you installed one.

Yeah, I installed the full BRT big bore kit, piston, cam, bigger carb, etc. More than a year ago.
Makes a big difference, and the parts are of good quality.
The only downside is I need to replace the oil every few hundred kilometres.

@@D-throne nice!! I just got done installing a 222cc big bore kit. It feels a lot more powerful!! I still need to install a cam and I think I need a 30mm carb instead of a 28.

Does anyone have any experience with putting a "milk-type" crate box on the rear of the XR? I'm looking to use it more as a run around, errand bike and would love to have a little more storage room than just the bags. I had considered the CT but the speed just isn't quite there for my area. Thanks to anyone who has information to share!

You could mount it kinda like we did with the bag in the video by using large cable ties. If you wanted it to be really firm(no side to side movement) you could set the egg crate on the rack and marker where the bars touch the base of the crate and dremel part of the base of the crate to let it sit in grooves. Then use huge cable ties to secure it to the rack. Haven’t tried it personally but that would be my method of attack. Thanks for watching and hopefully someone else has some input! 😎🤘🏼

I have a Givi box on mine, I use it to store my helmet, rainsuite, and gloves. Sometimes, I'll load it full of groceries, and the bike remains stable.

      Hey man,
I myself have strapped a milk crate to my Xr, and must say it works great! Granted I used a bunch of zip ties to strap it down. But I say it works great. I don't really do any real off-roading* with the milk crate on. Just gravel back roads, since I mostly use this bike as a commuter in my small town. I don't know if this helps, but yes, you can strap a milk crate and use it as a commuter!!!

How often do you have to fill up your superjet?

Usually start with full tank and go through a full tank in a ride during the week. If its a weekend and we ride most of the day with breaks the most we usually use is two tanks full. 🤘🏼😎
