Hi Andy I’ve got a 9kg version of this. It is very good. Washes, rinses and spins well. It is very quiet. Better than the Miele I had before. A great video. Thanks
Fantastically explained, as always. Keep up the good work 👍And i always wanted to say,how i don’t get that these newer machines are, A rated, what I mean by that is because they stick on there ads “big drum load” 10kg but yet over half the cycles you can’t even use the the full drum capacity.. that means smaller load at ridiculous wash times, equals more wash loads.. i find that very deceiving an a bit of a lie, how can a, 3 hours wash with only half the drum capacity aloud, be more economical? and a good size drum for a big family. thanks for the video and keep it up 👍
Thanks for the great review, especially for quoting the depths so well, as your seemingly "obvious" dimensions are not clearly stated on the Bosch website and elsewhere. Also would have been helpful if confirmed whether the common washes can be done at lower temperatures, even cold for sensitive stuff - I gather with some Bosch machines we can only wash at the temperatures the machine dictates, which worries me somewhat. Thanks
Hi Andy good videos, question I play a lot of squash so I have sports clothing and then towels do I need to do them separately due to the different fabrics sportswear and towels? Thanks
I personally would separate them, as they are completely different fabrics and all that will happen is your squash sports clothing could start to bobble if put in with towels. Thanks for the great feedback 👍
Hi andy Bought one of these machines march 2024 but there is an issue on the spin cycle, before it spins the machine makes a very loud chugging noise? the Bosch repair man came out and said the pump should be changed as a good will be the solution. the machine is very loud during wash. Previous bosch machine we had for 15 plus years DID NOT MAKE THIS NOISE any thoughts please/ thankyou
If you have only had it a month then you shouldn't really have to have parts replaced, i would try and get an exchange on the machine. Unless the machine is pumping water out, then it is unlikely to be the pump that is faulty if it is noisy during the wash
Like you we used to have a Bosch machine, albeit a high end one, bought at a massively discounted price (£400?) as end of line. This was about the year 2000, it gave 17 years of faultless hard service until, sadly, the metal door catch broke and no spares available to fix it. A great shame as it was a beaut, ran so smooth etc etc, as a mechanical engineer with knowledge of motor and bearing systems it was a pleasure to use, so well engineered. Sad to report, I've read umpteen Bosch reviews in the last year or so, its very clear that Bosch in general are not built/designed so well nowadays, they're clearly trying to keep the price down, for almost every model I've researched I've read far too many bad reviews regarding inability to spin smoothly etc etc, or ridiculous early failures. There have clearly been major design issues when they introduced the new brushless "eco drive" motors, if they die then its sometimes more cost effective or indeed essential to scrap the whole machine !!!, hence I'm still worried what machine to buy and have reluctantly decided to avoid Bosch - since 2017 we've used a second hand Hoover, which is now dying slowly (bearings noisy), yes I needed to replace the motor brushes once ( a fiver), something never had to do with the old Bosch machine, so I wonder why bother to go the brushless route - and yes the Hoover washed and spun surprisingly well given it's budget selling price. Hope the helps you sir.
Hello can you please answer my question? i cant find an answer anywhere thank you. Can i put a full load on a fast program? or will it automatically add time to the cycle without me being able to reduce it???
Normally the fast programs will only offer a half load option if you are selecting one of the fast washes. If you put in a larger load than is recommended then the machine will take a lot longer to do the wash.
Hoover/Candy is a good brand for slim machines, they make 8kg machines with a 54cm depth which is below average for an 8kg machine, however if you do still need to go slimmer then you can get a 6kg Beko WTK62054W with a 44cm depth but I’d only get it if it’s the only option as they’re not the best
Basically the machines which claim lower wash loads result in a more shallow/slim machine, as can be shown by some of the cheaper Bosch machines compared to this one (clearly the bigger wash load = bigger hence deeper/longer drum size = deeper machine. We have the same problem lol.

Please do some videos on your top recommended appliances. I’m also wondering what washing machine do you have and how you find it.

My parents just got one last week, its fine so far :D
Salve, se voglio ridurre il tempo di lavaggio:
ad esempio, la lavatrice mi indica 3:32 e voglio portarla a 2:00, come si deve procedere?

There are a wide range of temperatures on this machine including some going to cold if you wanted to. Thanks for the great feedback
Good morning Andrew, I have a question which is probably not very clever. Is the weight rating on a WM for dry or wet clothes?
Another great vid btw
The weight rating of machines will be for dry clothes.
Thank you for asking this ; I didn’t want to be the one to ask 😂
How do you tell how many kilo of clothing you have in the machine?
Great question. In theory you have to weigh it, but it is always an educated guess to the weight of the washing for each program.

Thank you🙏🏻!

Hi, would you be kind enough to tell me what is the equivalent model in Spain? Many thanks!
Had a quick look and looks like the nearest would be something like the WAN28201EP
@@lords-electrical Many thanks!
Thank you
Does this weights clothes and shows how much loaded?
No unfortunately it doesn't weigh the clothes, it would be good if it did though
Great washing machine but I need slim depth in my kitchen.
