Emily.... would you please address the fact the many qualified candidates cannot get hired because they do not have three years experience. Forth request.
For those who are having trouble finding a job due to no experience: 1.look for support/help desk roles not admin roles. get exp. then look for admin roles 2. make some personally useful salesforce projects that you can use daily. depending on how cool the project is, many employers prefer this over certs. Use it for personal finances, personal schedule, etc. Just because you have a cert doesnt mean you actually know what to do with the info. You have to prove it to them.
If someone has a BBA In Computer Information Systems, a year and a half of professional experience in IT consulting as a business analyst, do you think that they will be able to transition into Salesforce roles with ease? Any advice?
Thank you for all the help and all the tips! But how we can have the experience if we can't find an admin job!? Even for entry level they ask for 3 years of experience.
Emily, thanks for taking the time to help folks like us get started!
Thanks jordo!

Apply anyway, most software jobs also want 5+ years experience for entry level jobs when basic html/css is all they use.
Can you share how to get the job without experience but with admin certification
What’s your thoughts on Udemy courses?
I have one year experience as a sf developer in india can I able to get a job in the US with that one year of experience???
I guess it depends on whether or not you can sponsorship/citizenship
Great insights as always!
Thanks Jeremy!
