    I just passed the Admin exam a couple of days back.
    Your content on this video is highly accurate when it comes to the key topics that were covered in the exam.
    Conceptually if somebody is clear on the topics you've highlighted, exam should be just fine!

    I’ve been watching your videos and they’re REALLY helpful as I found that my issue was to understand the concept during the exam vs memorizing the answers. Tysm!!

I am new to salesforce and I am considering a career in business analysis/business intelligence. I recently discovered salesforce as a career and I am considering pursuing it. Do you think in 2023 it is still worth it?

      I do think that it can be a great career for those who are continuous learners and love to solve complex problems. I'd recommend going through Trailhead and building out a developer org to see if you like processes and tinkering.

    Salesforce has announced layoffs. What’s the likelihood of getting a job with the basic admin certification?

    • @salesforcenow
      @salesforcenow  7 месяцев назад

      The probability of getting a job with a basic admin certification is never high - the certification shouldn't be the end goal. If you obtain the certification and couple that with the ability to demonstrate your learnings via a demo org, complete project work (volunteer, on your own, or as a freelancer), and build your network, then you have a higher likelihood of getting a job.

    How long would you feel it would take for an experience software engineer to use the Trailhead mix to study and understand the concepts for the exam? Also, the engineer has full time to study for it. Asking for a friend 👀

    • @salesforcenow
      @salesforcenow  Год назад

      Hmmm, good question. If you're familiar with software and understand development/configuration practices, I think you have a great foundation to leap into Salesforce. I wouldn't be able to give any sort of timeline as that is highly dependent on your friend's work/study commitment - but I've heard of similar individuals with that background that felt confident after a few months time studying (trailhead, building in a free developer org, practice tests, etc) part-time.

    • @salesforcenow
      @salesforcenow  10 месяцев назад

      There is no easy answer to that. Experience can be gained via building demo orgs, volunteer experience, and group projects. Try not to limit experience to being paid as that is very hard to come by initially.

    • @salesforcenow
      @salesforcenow  Год назад +1

      The Salesforce Admin certification will be the best baseline knowledge for you to obtain. There is also an Associate exam that I've heard is helpful if you aren't familiar with Salesforce as a user.
      But the Admin exam is typically first in anyone's journey as it helps establish the structure of Salesforce with objects and fields.

    • @salesforcenow
      @salesforcenow  Год назад

      That's correct. 5 of the 65 are not graded on the test however. But I would set your aim higher than simply passing the exam. If you aim to master the concepts, you will be valuable admin - passing the exam will come in the process.
