    I honestly think Paolo's version is the best I've ever heard.

    The melancholy version makes sense because the song is about 2 friends who live apart and have reunited around drink remembering the past. It is a song longing for the past hence the melancholy version is a good fit because that is how you feel when you longing for the past.

    I love Paolo Nutini singing both versions of this song. Is there any chance you could upload the whole of him singing the "more popular" version - pretty please? I watched it over and over on the BBC Scotland website while it was available and have been looking for it ever since!
