I wouldn't go anywhere near that business. The area is too upscale to allow kids to hang out, and that is who goes to arcades. No wonder they are going out of business.
I disagree with sharing my profit with the landlord I pay my rent to the leasing company. I shouldn’t have to pay a premium by sharing 5% 12% or even 3% of my profit. Because I have employees to pay I pay taxes. Liability insurance. Workers comp insurance. So I wouldn’t want to share with the landlord.
I am opening a self run arcade in October and the hardest part is working with the malls million rules lol. We wanted to add a wall in the back third and We had to get a permit, use the same studs and materials as their walls, cant damage any other walls with the new walls construction and we had to get it inspected by the mall. And the mall I guess is allowed to tell us to take it down at any point and we have to comply in 5 business days.😂
Correct me if I'm wrong, but are they using Japanese Pokemon card packs as the prizes? Maybe it's cheaper to use Japanese packs or something, interesting to see for sure
People don't play machines they don't think they can win on. Make them as easy to win on as possible and people will play them even if you charge more. Videos I've watched on this topic seens to prove this out.
Stuff like vintage sports card packs might do well in 1 of the machines. Coolest item I've seen was in a key master was a 1oz gold coin and Mike Trout autographed baseball.
I purchased games from him a while back but some items are way over priced and unless you have experience in the arcade industry you might have over paid like 1500 for those pushers . To high for those
Originally this channel was about a guy counting coins at a laundromat, something we all can understand. Videos of him counting quarters was in the 100-200K views Then his channel went to 1.8 million subscribers. Now he's blabbing about Rolex watches. Now he's getting 10-15K views and this is basically a zombie channel. There is a very valuable 'lesson' to be learned right here...and it's sad that he's the Investment Joy guy is the last one to learn this lesson.

You should also read ohio law on skill games . You cannot!!! Give out gift cards or money of any kind its illegal. You also can’t offer a prize over 10 bucks wholesale value! Coin pushers that give out quarters are illegal !!!

I agree
You are correct.
Hi I love you’re laundry mat money counting videos
Great video and that pinnacle claw machine is one machine I like
I run a arcade business! My best advice is to buy new machines. And put them on a route.

What operation forces you to pay rent and profit to a already greedy enough landlord, bizzare!
I don’t even know why he said that cause I’m sure he would never give the landlord a % of the profits smh

there is a video game just like this called arcade paradise where you add arcade machines to a laundromat to get more money you should play it!
People rarely play claw machines anymore. The gig is up about how much you win vs lose on them.
Romans claw machine got shut down (for now) by the state. Does the same BS apply to arcade machines too?
oh. you should so buy a mall. that would be fun to see
2:40 Great business strategy! I agree with you.
Reminds me of Roman Atwood’s laundry mat

Careful with pinball machines, maintenance is the biggest issue and parts are becoming 'scarce'
That mall dosent sound like a location where an arcade with would get alot of customers.
Yep video games are for Guys This place seems very feminine stores
Glad you can make money at this. Malls in central illinois are dead. Arcades in town and surrounding towns all dead. To many video games at homes
An arcade in a high end retail area was destined to fail
Buy a key master, I have a couple and can help you get a good deal
I love coin pushers .
post trucking video
unfortunately most actual arcades just don't make much money anymore that's why most people just put coin pushers and claw machines in various stores
Putting even just a few levels of apartments on top of existing malls will save dying malls,
You can make good money with coin pusher machines.

Some cheap beats knockoff would be ok as some prizes to win.
Cant go wrong with One peice and pokemon card packs.
Obviously the wrong place for an arcade ,im surprised you dont set up an arcade near you washing business

You don't own a truck?
It's claw games. They give out nothing lol
A claw
Machine is the biggest scam ever in history they should be illegal, theyr worst than slot machines in casinos lol
Don't buy a rolex, I know someone that got stabbed and killed for it, wish I was joking. RIP Mr light.
