i had to get a cancerous tumor removed from my heart a month ago, and ever since then it’s been hell. it’s starting to look like i might need a heart transplant, so watching this for the first time kinda helped a little bit. it definitely doesn’t show or list the possible side effects, which i think a game like this should show, but i still appreciate it since that may be me on that table soon. so much love to anyone else who has to go through what i do ❤️

@@devanireneeortman it’s a lump of tissue that grows uncontrollably and saps nutrients that would otherwise go to your healthy systems. often when you hear about someone having lung cancer, it means a group of cells in the lungs decided it would be fun to multiply and make a type of cell that’s useful to nobody, and the group of cells gets bigger and bigger until it blocks something important and the person gets really sick. that’s what happened to me, except it was in my heart, so it was blocking VERY important things

fun fact, i’ve had my tonsils removed just 6 days ago and am currently in recovery! i’ve been binge watching watching your videos during recovery.
things they didn’t add, you’re supposed to shove an IV in the persons hand vein to constantly flush fluids into them. then at some point they administer the anesthesia through the IV and you pass out from there. I watched a video on someone else and they had the same surgery as me, while the tools they used were similar to other surgeries, it was a bit different from mine. with mine they used metal clamps to burn the tonsils instead of a little metal rode.
another thing, YOU DO NOT TAKE IBUPROFEN. Ibuprofen causes more iron in your blood leading you to bleed more, so you have to take acetaminophen or tylenol like pain relievers instead. you take those whenever you feel necessary. the main medicine that they actually give you is liquid hydrocodone, you take 1 1/2 cup of it every 4-6 hours and then you take pill prednisone once daily. preferably in the morning. these are pain killers, not relievers. killers are hard drugs essentially that can hinder abilities like driving and working, and with me, i’ve been having conversations with people that i don’t remember. it’s very effective with me and i’ve literally been high this entire week.
a common misconception, you stay away from ice cream because it’s dairy and the dairy causes mucous in the back of your throat, causing you to potentially cough and open the burn scabs in the back of your throat, which can cause you to profusely bleed. you stick to non-dairy popsicles.
every morning i wake up the pain is a solid 10, so my body now wakes up at 7-8 am and i go downstairs to take my medicine and wait about an hour, then head straight back to bed after it kicks in. my taste buds also have been messed up due to the drugs and the dead skin and old food build up in the back of my throat. so everything tastes nasty. also my tongue is completely numb from the drugs. it’s honestly a really sucky surgery and i would recommend getting it in your earlier years as a child because children recover quicker and for some reason it just doesn’t hurt them as much, whereas if you’re a young adult, it’s going to hurt like hell 99% of the time.
also another fun fact, it can change your voice slightly and maybe improve your singing voice

This is the back story of Baldi. Jack did such a good job on his ear, that now he can hear every thing. Including every door being opened and who made that noise. But Jack also used the wrong shaving cream and he became permanently Bald.
He's also good at math because he counted all the different ways Jack killed him and added them together so many times he became great at math.
The glitched problems came from Monika getting jealous of him taking her spotlight, so she made his game a rage game so the player would come over to her game and calm down.

Hey Jack! Future Nursing student here to tell you all about your tonsils! Your tonsils are part of your lymphatic system, which is like the "garbage disposal" of the body. The lymphatic system is how you remove waste from the different areas of your body, such as your blood or bones, and remove it from your body via your kidneys. Your tonsils do not necessarily play a vital role, which is why they are able yo be removed of they are constantly getting infected.
Fun fact about heart surgeries! They used to put tons of ice in the chest of the patient while operating, in order to slow all of the body functions down. They dont need to do that now because of new technology and also new information about the body that shows the ice made very little impact, if any.
Wouldn't icing the chest cause severe hypothermia and a reaction from the body to pool blood into the vital organs they're trying to "slow down"?
Not to mention the bacteria in the frozen water...
It's remarkable how far medical science has come.
***** Wonderful question! Hypothermia, to my understanding (which is limited at this point in time), is not as big a concern as the heart issue is. Once they start the heart up again and remove the excess ice, the blood flow starts again, which warms the body, and takes care of the hypothermia. Besides, its easier to treat hypothermia than it is a failing heart.
Since surgery is done in a sterile environment and there is not cold loving bacteria in the body, bacteria life is actually halted because the extremely cold temperature puts them in a cryogenic stasis. Hope you found this helpful/interesting!

The doctor asks me if I had any surgery's done to me, and without hesitating or asking my mother I told the doctor that I had my testicals removed. Mixing up tonsils and testicals. I've never had to have my tonsils removed, my my older brother had them removed the year before I was born when he was 6. Apparently he threw up a lot of blood from the surgery and didn't get any ice cream because he was in too much pain.
When I had my tonsils removed I also had my adenoids removed and tubes put in my ear and I was out of school for almost 3 weeks
I had both my tonsils and adenoids taken out over thanksgiving break and it sucked because I couldn’t eat anything, even ice cream hurt... this freaks me out because this is what basically happened to me😓

I had my tonsils and adenoids removed. And I had TWO ear tube surgeries in both ears, but recently had to have a third operation on my left ear, due to extremely severe Swimmer's Ear. It is agony to have those infections. I'm glad I had the surgery. It was on the table and I took the chance.

I had a cochlear implant a year. I had to get shaved on my left ear. The implant goes in the back of the ear. The day I had the surgery I was terrified. I hope every one of you who will have surgery of some kind well.

I got a cochlear implant in 2016 because of meningitis. I was 6 years old.luckily I didn’t get my head shaved
About 12 years ago I had my adenoids removed because they were abnormally large but they do grow back
