@@cbcmusic I think early 2005 when strapping young lad did ozzfest. They were signing posters near the second stage lol Devin looked bored. He drew a smiley face on his face on my poster.

Just saw his show in Tucson...OMG it was legen... wait for it...DARY!!!! have got to find another venue close by to see another show. No kidding people, if you have an outside chance of seeing one of his shows, do it!!!!

I agree and a mere mortal such as myself thinks, man that would be hard to sing so melodically over a galloping riff like that.
Haven't played this two years, is usually most musicians last album. For Devey, that's two albums, a concept piece, producing other bands albums and has been writing new music the whole time.

Devin is a fucking underrated national treasure.
He never failed to deliver, wit, spontaneity, trippy, fascinating. Just the guitar riff is out of league, the performance is captivating.
I love Devin. He's just my favorite man.

First heard of Devvy when the SYL self titled album was new. Was into heavy metal of all types at that time, but I reckoned I heard some unique talent in that one. Discovered the rest of the SYL lexicon in a few years following, then was tipped off by a British friend that Devy did more... discovered more around 2008, then Ki dropped in 2009.
All the respect and love I can muster from Wisconsin since then and for the rest of my days.

I love how even in his re-discovery through the song, not forgotten, he still manages to bring the crowd along with him in his vague uncertainty of the missing parts. Keeps everyone engaged and adds a little comedic flair along the way. Genius, sheer genius. Devin is a treasure everyone should attempt to appreciate. He may not be everyone's "cup of tea" but DAMN is his delivery and approach infectious. Cheers :)

Nothing special here actually... Devin doing the usual genius stuff, starts out tapping happily on his acoustic and promptly reminds us of his g-string being out of tune from the start. That is for all who didn’t notice of course...
