I almost cried watching this as i felt betrayed after finding out my best friend (who i knew since we were basically babies) had done some reslly "disgusting" things to my younger sister. I saw him as an older brother, i told him a lot of my personal secrets. Some of my best memories came from hanging around him. But now i have a hard time looking at him or even thinking straight without those thoughts in my head. But what really broke me was finding out he said "no" after being asked if he did it. In that moment, my ability to trust others became sh*t when the closest person in my life never confessed to what he did. And i didn't find out until nearly three years had passed when i found my younger sister crying on a school night. The same person I'm supposed to protect didn't tell me until she couldn't hold it in any longer. Having your trust broken by someone close to you is a sh*tty feeling, one that i can't describe nor would wish on another person.
