I still love listening to all the Country Western songs that Charley Pride sang, that still echo with all his heart. Charlie Pride is a great American, a great Soldier, a great singer and songwriter, and family man, and as for his secretive biological son Tyler, my best heartfelt wishes, that Tyler receives the recognition he too deserves.

Not surprised at all. Most entertainers have kids out of wedlock. I mean the road is not kind to marriages. There are men and women everywhere begging for a few precious moments with you. I bet he has other kids as well. Move on Tyler. Don't waste your life trying to recoup what you do not have. Hell, the longer it goes on, the more your attys are going to get from you. Be thankful you are your family are doing good. You and they look well. Your wife and kids are what matters now.

Great job on Charlie Pride's biography. Never knew he had an outside baby. I hope Tyler figures everything out and not only hold his father accountable... His mom knew he was a married man. Must have been a balancing act for CP to keep the peace with his family after making a mistake. ✌🏾

I think that he has received more than enough from his father . It's time to live his own life and do with it the best he can . God has blessed him with way more than he has achieved on his own . He is not " entitled " to any " reparations"
from the past . He has been financially respected by C.P.
there's no need to be greedy.
    Take responsibility for yourself
into the future . It'll make you a better man ! God Bless !

Charley Pride , what a musical icon beautiful sounding tone no one else has sounded as such somewhat like Elvis they get to sounding like but you can't get it exactly , now Charley wow the hurdles he had to jump but the accomplishments are phenomenal but the facts still remain , its a terrible scenario that the loneliness of being on the road making a name for yourself you are alone you can't be selfish with your self you have feelings and sometimes the consequences of needing companionship does has its consequences but at the moment you are kinda stuck with mixed emotions with what is happening at that point of time , it becomes to much of a moment next thing you know that you start to feel so much remorse it starts eating at you and at home thank God for a partner that understands that things happen when you are not at home and you are all alone and on the road but when a child is brought into this type of a situation and it doesn't help you or the child that was not ask to be , it's has to be included in the mix of things weather the other part of the family doesn't want to recognize the other child that didn't have a choice of being here you can't leave them out it is only fitting to acknowledge the fact that it did occur cause Charley sang of love , the young man does deserve your love and the best of the family has to offer him , "love and understanding affection that he to is a part of Charley"

🎬🗣🎙🎸What a truly amazing and honest story... ¡Bravo, well done 🎉 and presented...
*Trivial note, @ one point the late great legendary Producer, Musician, Songwriter Owen Bradley; as well as, a one-time Vice President of Decca Records in 1947 and head of A&R for the Nashville operations in 1958. He is credited with helping create the "Nashville Sound" and Decca's success in Country & Western music during this era. Moreover, Mr. Bradley, conversed to me personally, that he wanted to pair a duet project(s) in thee early '70s with 'Pride & Prince' my late auntie La Melle Prince, one of Owen's C&W signed artists yet, it never came to fruition...💯⭕️ ~"Big Dave" B.

I think if Charley Pride had stayed with Baseball he would be in the hall of fame. Instead he filled a lot of people's hearts with some great country music. I listened to him for at least a year before I knew he was colored man. But see that didn't matter to me because I also was a blues music man. Charley Pride I saw a The Strawberry Festival in Florida. Very nice and polite man. And I love all of his music...

What? Never knew about this part of Pride's life. Always loved and listened to his music growing up. This kinda gives the heart a different feeling. If this is indeed facts. Seems the son wanted acceptance after being kept a secret for years as a child. Just imagine having half siblings but you are denied the chance to know them. Sad, but Tyler take what you were given and move on.

If Charlie wanted to acknowledge his son in his will he would have, he did what the court told him to do.... Move on and don't worry about it, he'll be held accountable for his wrong doing in the end. This should have shown you what he really thought about you as his son unfortunately, sad but face reality.
