A trip to shitty Sandusky, Ohio is absolutely worth it. CP is a resort. Surrounded by beach and lake, watersports, quick trip to Put in Bay. Plus, CP is definitely a park you will not get bored with for 2 days, plus a water park. With their new property purchases, I'm excited to see what is in store for the resort. There's so much to do (just not really in Sandusky proper-it's kinda sketch). CP, in my mind, absolutely wins for location too.

For people thinking about visiting the area Sandusky is not a large town go ten me minutes east or west and you will find small lakeside communities, campgrounds, really nice State Park on the lake. Lake side cabins from wood shacks on the cheap to luxury condos. But the people around the lake are the best

Regarding SFMM, I think this second placement is deserved now, but perhaps not in 2010 - the time of my only visit (I'm British). The thing is, while the line-up was very good it was quantity over quality with only Tatsu and Deja Vu standing out as genuinely amazing (X2 is very good, but rough) but it looks like they've improved since then.

Great video! You surprised me with Hersheypark being at #4 a lot of videos I've seen people rank Hersheypark in the beginning of their lists or even not at all. Hersheypark is 2 hours away from me, but I sort of call it my home park. I've been to Lakemont Park, DelGrosso's, Kennywood, Idlewild, Disney World, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Playland's Castaway Cove, Wonderland Pier and Kings Dominion and out of all those parks Hershey is my most favorite with BGW not far behind. I rode Verbolten and Invadr during Christmas Town 2 years ago, so I really want to go back so I can ride all the coasters there. The first thought of Verbolten was Eh, it's not that thrilling. I rode it and yes it sure is a thrill riding it!!! I ended up loving it, so i can't wait to get back there and ride it once in the daylight and another time when it's dark! By the way in my opinion Dominator seems to be underrated. I think it's the best at KD.

I actually wasn't that crazy about Cedar Point. Maverick was the standout there when I went because it was an interesting, different, fun coaster. Storm Runner and Great Bear at Hersheypark, while definitely not the biggest coasters out there, I think are standout rides because (due to lack of space) they were forced to design them in a way where the ride "interacts" with the park. Some of what makes a good coaster (at least for me) isn't just the track itself, but how it is designed around the park, the theming, and interesting elements (like the drop track in Verbolten at Busch Gardens Williamsburg).

Kings Island at #5? Wow, that is funny! The park is always 20 YEARS behind when it comes to coasters. You can thank Cedar Point for that for the most part. That is because prior to becoming a Cedar Fair park Kings Island was always blocked from getting the newest and best coasters due to exclusive rights granted to Cedar Point for rides they built within so many miles of Cedar Point before Kings Island got the chance to have one. Now of course it is constantly a game of catch up. 20 years behind on a Hyper, 20 years being on an Invert, 20 years behind of a Giga and the clock is still ticking away for so many coasters Kings Island should have ALREADY had!

I've been to your top three favourite parks, but that's a little misleading as I've not been to Six Flags Great Adventure since 1981. I was also there in 1977, each time for less than one day. However: In late May 2018 I visited Cedar Point for the 1st time ever and spent over four days there. A year and a half later in late November 2019 (less than a month after 1st visiting Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Alton Towers and Thorpe Park; England's top three coaster parks) I visited SFMM for the 1st time ever, spending over two days at there before going on my 1st visit to Knott's Berry Farm where I spent a day and a half. I visited Cedar Point for the 1st time after Steel Vengeance opened in May 2018, then I visited SFMM for the 1st time 18 months later in late November 2019, and for that I consider myself extremely lucky. Seeing countdowns like this make me feel more traveled and happy, rather than less traveled and jealous.
At SFMM I didn't get to ride Superman because it was closed, I also couldn't ride West Coast Racers because it wasn't open yet, and I also only rode one kiddie coaster out of the many they have there, since the rest of them require an adult to ride with a kid. At Cedar Point the ONLY coaster I didn't ride was Wilderness Run as it was the only coaster there that they refused to let me ride without being accompanied by a kid.
(BTW Superman at SFMM is a shuttle giga coaster since the trains both rise and drop over 300' and less than 400', but it's not a full circuit giga; so technically SFMM doesn't have a strata or a full circuit giga, but it'd be technically incorrect to say SFMM doesn't have a giga coaster; but I quibble.)
It's clear that Cedar Point has the best coaster collection in the world; too bad it's weak for wooden coasters, but then again so is SFMM. Thanks for this awesome video!

As someone who has never been to these parks as I live in the uk, by looking at cedar points coasters vs SF Magic Mountains coasters, x2, twisted colossus, full throttle and Tatsu Look better than top thrill dragster, Valrvn, Steel vengeance in my opinion but obviously I’ve never gone to any of these parks so I wouldn’t know. I think CP should get a 4th dimensional coaster and in the future theoretically a Trex coaster possibly

Six Flags over Georgia def better than Kings Dominion. Over Georgia has way more depth to their lineup and all their supporting cast (mindbender, batman, superman, blue hawk, DDD, scream machine) are good rides. Even if KD has a better top 2 than Goliath and Twisted Cyclone, I think there is just more consistency in Over Georgias lineup
